i just installed the advance device lock.. and now i just cant seem to uninstall it. if i try uninstalling, it says "unable to uninstall application. Other applications must be closed first. Close now?" and when i click "OK", it just reboots and doesn't uninstall. How do i go about uninstalling it?

USB recharging is not safe! This only overheats both the phone components and ur batt! Also USB charging may damage ur phones batt monitor! Please avoid charging via USB! Plus if u use PC Studio to add apps/games or anything the quicker way is copying the apps to the mass memory and then installing them one by one.....its faster and safer for ur phone....

The Batt died in 4hrs!!!???!!! WOW!! The only app running was the screen torch? Also was the charge via USB or Wall Charger? What i think u should do is charge phone fully without the screen torch, then after full charge use it as u would normally do, then let me know how quickly it died out!

i just did as u told Symbios bro.. when i bought the phone, it had three bars.. i allowed them it to die on its own using screentorch.. then i charged it until it said battery full.. then i switched it on and left the screen torch on.. the entire battery including the last bar died out in 4 hrs.. !! what should i do ??

hi... i hav done 20 steps...
i installed helloox2... then go to apps and there it says unpacking data.... and it goes for unpacking data unpacking data.... it doesnot go above.... wat to do....
also thanks for tell this step by step... but i need some more help....

I need your help buddy. I tried installing the antivirus but i get a "can't be install this on this model of phone" message. I have been doing this thru pc studio 7 but I also tried saving on mass memory the install from E: drive, but no luck. Help, Please.

cia, 16 Jan 2010yeah there is feature of backup.... i can backup mass memor... moreBack up will save the files and content on your phone. Since you don't have a memory card the back up on the phone is useless to you now because that is where the backup would be saved. You can back up using pc studio 7 (you can get that from the cd that came with the phone or samsung's website if you don't have it). Factory set doesn't format the mass memory: to do this you enter your E: drive then open options. Format mass memory will be part of the options.

Guys when is the official update comming for HD, region wise or universal. Getting frustrated as price falling and loss increasing. Sammy hurry you never were symbian inventor just from times release with OS.

1. Go to http://cer.opda.cn/en
2. register for an account(top left-hand corner)
3. apply for a certificate(top left-hand corner,
select "APPLY CER")
4. Enter the Phone model(Samsung i8910 HD), phone IMEI(*#06#), In "Remarks" type "Samsung"
5. Certificate will be ready in a few hours
Krishna u will need this certificate to sign particular applications....
6. Download "freesigner" app from http://gallery.mobile9.com
7. install it on ur phone in the phone mass memory
8. Download an app called "HelloOX2" from
http://gallery.mobile9.com
9. copy/paste "HelloOX2" to the phone mass memory
10. Get the .cer and .key files(which u applied for) from http://cer.opda.cn/en and save it on u PC.
11. copy/paste both files from PC to phone mass memory
12. now open the freesigner app, go to options, then settings
13. in settings go to "sign cert" and go to where u copied the .cer file in the phone mass memory.
14. go to "sign key" and go to where u copied the .key file
15. go to "output directiry", then select "custom"
16. Exit settings, the select "add task"
17. go to the "E" drive to find the "HelloOX2" that u copied to ur phone
18. Then Highlight the "HelloOX2", go to "options" and select "add"
19. Go to "options" and then select "GO"
20. Then go to the "C" drive of ur phone, then go to "FreeSigner" folder and install the new signed "HelloOX2"
21. after u install "HelloOX2", Reboot phone than go to "applications", then click on the "Gold OX"
22. After files install, u will notice a "rom Patcher" in the list
23. select the rom patcher and "apply" both patches and also set them both to "auto start"
