Even the pre-installed apps are the same

I asked the store if it's possible to get a 16gb instead of the 8gb that they offered from one of the stores franchise but i doubt they will have it. I'm just concerned if the 16gb has more benefits than the 8gb.

I need you help buddy: I tried installing hellox but keep getting problems. Up until installing freesigner and assigning the cer and key certificates, everything was fine. However when I tried installing hellox I got a "not yet valid or date expired" message. I think that was because when I added it on freesigner I did it as sign sis. I went back and re-added it on self sign sis and this time installation continued and asked which drive to install so i picked c drive, but it stopped and said "requested application access not granted". What am I doing wrong?

mine is 8G version and the box includes, the phone covered with protective films(8g ver. of course), The Battery, an AC charger, a USB cable, Stereo Headset, a mini CD and a few user leaflets+ a very breaf manual(the complete manual should be downloaded...
Some boxes(not mine) are bigger due to the availability of a dedicated A/V Cable...
And my phone's FW ver. is "JVIF6" a middle eastern version...

What I Feel, 12 Jan 2010I am from India & I paid a hefty 29K to get this device... moreIs the frame realy a plastic with chrome coating?? Cause when i touch it feels cold!!!
About the keys yes they are plastic, but mine still looks like the day i unpacked it(i mean the whole phone frame, keys and plastics)...
I have to admit that, the materials used in this phone are much much better than the ones used in my old se k800, N73 and N95(in terms of durability)
Maybe u play with it, with ur nails too much!!!LOL

Today i went to buy the phone and i realized that the box was smaller than the normal one. The box was more or less square and had an 8gb written on it. Can anyone who has the 8gb tell me what come in it? Is there less stuff in the 8gb box than the 16gb?

Does anyone have the 8gb version of this phone. Can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the 8gb and the 16 gb besides for the one having more memory. Does the 8gb one have an older firmware, less stuff on it or work differently?

Ed, 12 Jan 2010Hey Sajad, thanks for post - will that destroy everythi... moreya frnd u ll lost everything coz hard reset deletes everything including viruses,worms etc.let me tell u one v.little but important thing if u wanna save ur images,vedios or songs don't means don't copy ur image folder or vedio ot sound folder of ur mass memory to pc,just open these folders and copy the contents to ur pc coz most of the worms r in the folder it self,so just copy the images,vedios n sounds not there respective folder. and u have to bacup ur contacts n sms only not the entire mobile data otherwise u ll bacup that infected file also,just bacup the contacts and sms to ur pc the after the full cleaning of ur mobile restore them back, listen format ur mass memory and memory card then inorder to format the phone memory press *#7370# and ur phone memory is formatted then restore ur sms n contacts back to ur mobile,then install ur games n apps n enjoy,i m 100%sure that it will clean ur mobile completely coz i had faced this problem with my previous nokia phones,

thanks for post - will that destroy everything on the hard drive? I've saved everything I can from the phone onto my PC. If I do hard reset, can I back up names and addresses from my PC to the phone and will I have to re-install games and so on?
How do I do hard reset / reformat?

if that file is in the mass memory than it is not from the company but from ur computer or whose computer u had connected ur mobile with, hard reset will fix ur problem

Had this phone for about 3 months now and seems excellent in most respects. The OS takes a bit of getting used to after using winmo and apple but basically sound.
One problem I do have though is a ghost file which seems to recreate itself somehow. It's not a virus, but seems to be a more basic arror somewhere in the system. It's a video file that lists itself multiple times in the file menu. It' happened a couple of times with different files and was an issue right out of the box, so I'm pretty sure it's not a virus, unless Samsung are shipping corrupted phones!
What happens is this: when I call up the media files it shows tiles with the logos/images/files on them, and one of these files is now listed multiple times (like 35 times), but I cannot delete or play them. They take up no memory and show no activity, but when I try and delete I get a listing showing a little yellow key on the tile and the message 'unable to delete'. I've tried deleting through a PC connection on the mass storage setting but still no avail. Any ideas?

bro no at present it doesnot supports dat or vob,but the coming update is going to fix the dat problem but i cant say anything about vob,
