guys i was thinking to buy a n8 m using this phone since 7 months and today i updated it through hyperx and installed v8 in it and now have no plans of buying n8 man after update through hyperx dis fone rock the speed is too fast and many new features are added nd the browser closing problem also solved before update i thought samsung is shit bt nw its too good nd cn anyone temme which is d latesy version m usin v8 is dis d latest?

and hey, if u're able to extract the jpeg codec from that, could you please make a comparison on what you are currently using and the ddig3 one, just so we can show people like faenil/andy that they could probably use this one.. plus, if you could teach me how to extract the codec, it'd be great ;)

I think we deal with a classic here already ! This phone is Feb 2009, we are now Sep 2010 and this phone is stil in the front line ! Tell me another phone on any kind with HD Video, 8Mp camera with FLASH, videocall 3G camera (a MUST for a decent 3G phone) and DNSE&Dolby audio ALL TOGETHER? Name it ! Soulchild, 15 Sep 2010Remember how iam always talking about how me and those ipho... morehahahah, a fanboy in disguise :) To be honest the iphone 4 is nice, but the omnia HD is 2 years old and still can compete with the latest creation of Apple. Not to mention that Symbian is an open OS, the samsung has USB, DLNA, FLASH, microSD and even today a gorgeous display.
I'm very pleased with my omnia HD and wouldn't trade it for an Apple, any Apple.

I have installed the faenil firmware (n2o4) and is very good ....but the camera quality in the landscape mode is not so good....my question is...with hx-v8 firmware the camera quality is better in landscape mode ?

My bro in law just got one and the quality of the screen, photo's and hd recording are of much higher quality than this phone. It looks very clear and crisp compared to the omnia. But then again it's an iphone and i'm not comfortable with an iphone as my personal mobile.

iphone4 is the newcomer AND there are plenty of better rivals available on the market already
And look at the this site's rating...Its yet the number 3...

Opera browser works like charm in this phone cause it have 256mb ram n it can do lot of multitasking. From time to time it has update firmware from hyper x or faenil. Love this phone cheerrsss..

samsung wave gt8500 isfar better than this phone..this is old..and samsung wave is new .better fast prosessor better screen better music player .....super amoled screen and fantastic bada rposessor..this phone is running in symbian...not fast like bada..and the prise is more than wave..so guys go to wave...this is old...
