have any of u here installed any exciting apps on the HD? anything which u felt is a necessity and should be given with the phone? if so, could you paste the link here? yes, i have googled quite a lot to find software/apps for this monster, but didn't come across anything really interesting.. also if anyone could post the link of a good video editing app which would run on the phone, it'd be great.. there are videos on youtube of the MWC which show the video edit app but i just cant seem to find the app anywhere.. please do post a link here if u find one.. thanks :)
and i found an application which is supposed to make the led work like a torch - switch on and off.. but that doesnt work.. does any1 have one that works? i only figured out one way to get that done, switch on camera in video mode and turn on flash.. but i dont like it this way...

you can not copy dvd contents right to ur phone without converting it first. It does not support mpeg-2 format, no phones capable to do this

Sunny, 20 Sep 2009Guys it this symbian phone better than a windows mobile pho... moreI had a chance to try my cousin's diamond(first edition) and im sorry to say this BUT its completely a pain to work with it.
Very small screen would undo its vga resolution, washed out colors AND the touch sensivity is so bad i had to tap on it so hard especially at the corners ...
If you wouldnt mind of s60 5th drawbacks go for the HD and you wouldnt regret

Guys is this symbian phone better than a windows mobile phone? in terms of softwares/usage, etc.
i am currently using htc touch diamond, thinking to exchange it for this one..
so would it be worth??

heyy , 20 Sep 2009hey rohit thks for the valuable information.... actually n... morefirmware is coded instructions that are stored permanently in read-only memory (rom) very similar to the way it is in a computer.. the basic code which determines the way the hardware and software are put to use.. and dont worry about those codes.. they are just menus to change/view the internal settings and phone info like imei number, mac address, sound settings etc. these things are a little risky if you dont have indepth unowledge abemout them.. so i suggest not troamper with with th

Italy is running on XEII2 now. The Italian firmware has some extra features like- 3D Task Manager and it solved the Web Browser Stop bug. I thought about update my HD to the Italian one, but don't wanna do that. I am hopeful that India will have the IG4 soon, which is currently running in HK. Let see what happens..
