Samsung Mobile Navigator doesn't come with any maps or voice-guided navigation license - does this answer my question even partly?
and would someone please explain that SD content only for TVout, what does that mean?

forget about the N97 its a 2008 phone which sold in 2009, even its camera is old fashioned, my 3 year old N95 had better camera and even better some hardwares like dual ARM 11 334mhz CPU + dedicated graphic chip,lol
So, with almost the same money you could buy many better phones already available, Nokia is asleep and should wake up before it became too late...
I was a kind of nokia fan and now I say, "if the N97 was $200 cheaper I still recommend the omnia hd"

And about the pro2, HTCs and winmo OS have their own fans, i heard theyre good phones but i havent had any experience with winmo and i cant help at this time, sorry.
BUT, at least i can say this s60 5th on the Omnia HD which samsung added some little cool things to it (touch wizard), is not as bad as most symbian haters say about it. It wont regret you, im sure.

I've read all the review online and most of them within this forum...i definitely will be getting this handset no doubt but i jus fear that samsung will allow it to become nothing but a sour taste in my mouth just like they did the INNOV8...i loved that phone till samsung refused to provided any support of any kind....do any of you guys beleive history will repeat itself with the i8910 HD....? (answer honestly)....i'm still going to buy it anyways :)

I saw this phone in Malaysia yesterday. Price RM2500. The touch feel is very good. The screen is very clear and it is as clear as iphone. However it was light and felt cheap. When you hold the iPhone or Blackberry Storm, you can feel they are quality and heavy but this phopne was light and felt cheap.
Maybe this is what I felt but to be honest it diud not worth the price tag. If they make the phone using the same material used on the F480 Samsung, then this phone wil be one of the best.
the salesman was only talking about the camera being 8MP. are they selling a phone or camera?
Anyway Samsung display is excellent and I recommend this phone to people who want to use a suitable and hard working phone with video conferencing. If you look for style and quality I recommend the iPhone 3Gs or Blackberry Storm.

guys i have a question here,,i was surfing on orkut when i found one of the guy saying--
"I wanted to install python on my device. But samsung has a very old py60 version and latest versions are not installable. Infact no nokia signed applications are installable."
is that right that python can't be installed
That guy further says-"Open C/C++ plugins, open ssl plugins etc etc are not available for i8910"
what about this
PLEASE SOMEONE WHO HAVE USED THIS MONSTER CAN CLARIFY THIS DOUBT OF MINE,,as i'm all set to buy this device

NO it does not have a 1Ghz processor, it was just another marketing trick that was played by them to fool us...thinking that we are stupid, and would never figure out... im a indian myself but i must say that that these indian markting guys are crooks and their knowledge about these products is way below average, all they think about is how to fool us and make their money..

where the hell can i buy one, been trying since the past 2 weaks... its about time.. these guys keep launching stuff without knowing the meaning of it.. i wonder what the samsung India marketing guys have up their a-- by launching it on the 13th of aug.. and keeping us waiting since...these guys are so clueless, they launched the omnia hd(i8910) and the omnia pro the same day, and they dont even have the omnia pro on their indian website..

Some news says that the indian edition have 1ghz processor.is this true news?if this is true, omnia hd is the fastest phone in the market now.can any body tel is it true or not?

"i8910 HD" no the best name but amazing handset. iPhone 3GS says that it can run HD 1080p video but we'll see bout that...with the TFT display and the resolution of the screen i doubt it'll look anything like high definition.....AMOLED running 1080p HD more plausible...i'm clocking in some MAD overtime at work to get me this beast (i8910HD). i've already got a ScanDisk 32gb MicroSDHC, Rubberized/Silicone Cases and Samsung SBH-650 Bluetooth Pendant....that how serious i am!! Samsung have done something wonderful by giving us this monster....i'm a Nseries fan...still awaiting the Nokia N98...and with these two handsets i cant be touched...:)

omnia hd all the way! to all those indecisive of what to get. I live in South Africa and right now they havnt released the phone yet but i have no doubt that i will get this phone. I research phones every day, going into the depth of each specification. Omnia hd has the best specs i have ever seen on one sheet and users are always satisfied with this handset. I was a hardcore nokia lover but after seeing this phone, i have moved to samsung
