1GHz CPU..since the omniaHD and iphone 3GS were thought to use the same SoC (ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz / PowerVR SGX 535 ). The only other CPU that is 1 GHz is the snap dragon..and that has a weaker graphics unit than the PowerVR SGX 535. Anyone confirm the new specs?

Hey i am looking to buy this phone but waiting on the re-launched newer version which was apparently launched on 1st of august.I can't seem to find any info on that.Does anyone know what changes have been made hardware/firmware ??

Only the iphone as far as i'm aware offers some form of decent viewing. Even the greatest things will have minor flaws. Have to say though, watching DivX HD (720) on this screen in good conditions is an absolute pleasure, and Opera mini (compared to 5800xm) is a dream! Shame about the FM transmitter though. Would of saved me the bother of buying speakers!

OLED is a great technology each pixel lights up by itself, there is no any back light under it. And its even save some more energy than the lcd ones.
but there is a disadvantage, since there is no mirror under the display the sun legibility is rather poor compare to lcd technology

However, I have a 2009 BMW 325i and there is no full compatibility with its bluetooth and my Omnia HD. For example, the Contact names on the mobile do not appear on the BMW screen. I see the contact numbers only without names.

Hi guys. I have currently owned the HD for around 4 weeks, and even as a die hard Nokia fan, I have to say this is the best phone I have ever owned. The reason I decided on this and not the N97 is based on several things... 1) same OS but better looking. 2) Captive touch screen instead of resistive 3) HD video recording and 8mp cam 4) (Slightly) larger screen 5) Faster processor 6) Divx drag and drop on PC studio. Plus others I havn't got time to mention. So anyone looking to get 'THE' best smartphone around, look no further than this little Adonis.
