Has anyone else in the UK had the new IE7 firmware update yet?
Also has anyone had issues with strange broken log files appearing within the media album?
I am still having this issue after the IE7 update.

I have had this phone for a week and I got to say that selling my iPhone to purchase i8910 was the best move I have made in sometime. The quality is amazing and I am sure that once it becomes well know it will blow the iPhone out of the water. The video quality is amazing,I draged and dropped an AVI file to memory and it plays with no hassles at all with superb picture and sound. The music player is also great quality sound. The phone is fast and can handle just about anything you ask it to do. I have taken a few pictures with it in different modes and scenes and it comes up trump everytime with out fail. The video capture is also amazing in HD. So far I can not fault this phone at all. well done Samsung I say

but i advise 2 buy from serag mall it costs 4700

were just all waiting here in the Philippines.. hope it can arrive not late than september. .

1- omnia hd screen 3.7 inch bigger then satio that has 3.5 inch.
2- internal ram in omnia hd 265 bigger then satio that has 128 ram.
3- internal mass memory in omnia hd 8 g and 16 g plus the external micro sd up to 32 g which bigger then satio that has no mass memory and his external memory up to 16 g .
4- camera on omnia hd 8 mega pixel with high definition video record less then satio that has 12 megapixel camera but with no hd record..and by the way omnia already available and satio didnt come yet.
5- battery on omnia hd has 1500 mAh which means long use till it's empty and bigger then satio poor battery that has 1000 mAh which means short use till it's empty.
6- omnia hd plays AVI(DiVX/XviD)/WMV/RV/MP4/3GP video player on the other hand satio only plays WMV/RV/MP4/3GP video player.
finally omnia hd beat'em all....there's only one mobile phone in the world.....Omnia hd

here's a complete review again for ya on omnia hd.
1- the biggest ever touch screen with 3.7 inches 16m colour.
2-well,talk about the amazing touch screen sensetivity of omnia hd and that cause of it's capacitive not resetive like nokia 5800 or n97 or htc hd,suffice it to say that 's the same kind of iphone touch screen.
3- 256 ram what's make it the fastest mobile phone same as iphone,on the other hand all of us know that n97 just 128 ram .
4- now let's talk about camera...it's really wonderfull..takin' photo as hot as hell.filming with it is damn crazy...i really adore it...the only exception is while recording in hd resolution ,it slow a lil cause of recording @ 24 fps , not 30 @fps,but since it has been the first mobile ever filming hd,then i can call great start.
5- when u talk about speed then u definitely talk about processor,let's say the best mobile processor nowdays is the ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz ,the only 3 mobile phones that have that kind of processor is ipone 3gs and it's already available ,sony ericsson satio (idou)and it's not available till now and omnia hd and it's available.
6- best os and it's Symbian OS v9.4 Series 60 rel. 5 the same os for n97,sony ericsson satio,nokia 5800 ,all i can say about it reliable.
7- last but not least very extended life battery which has Li-Ion 1500 mAh,i really like it after a long deal with n95 and nokia 5800. p.s i was fan of only nokia mobile phones since 2000,more then 8 years,and really now the time is for omnia hd ,after the real experince with mobile phones i truley believe in omnia hd

see,dude....there's so many different firmwares 4 omnia hd ,i already have the firmware for (uae) which has the arabic language if u lookin' 4 that but there's some problem with that cause of the phone is such a brand new,so the arabic firmware(i8910jvif2) for uae doesnt support the upgrade to firmware (i8910xxig2) through the pc studio software updater,so u must have the firmware which is 4 europe (i8910xxif2) that can get ya to (i8910xxig2),and this is the best firmware ever for the omnia hd with such a great intro on start up....by the way u cant install (i8910xxig2) manually like other old firmwares...u have 2 install it through pc studio software updater.

Hi guyz,i hav decided to buy omnia hd.i am or infact i was a heavy nokia user.nokia phones r well known for their long lasting capabilities and durability.bt i dont knw abt the lasting capability of samsung phones yet.so samsung users and omnia hd users,can u give me ur opinion hw long samsung phons lasts,or omnia hd will last?ur opinion wl b very helpful 4 me.

Forget the Satio - (disgraceful name) this is a Samsung page. It's not even released yet. The Omnia HD is the monster of mobiles nothing can compare to it !!! Samsung are the innovators in technology and will soon be the market leaders...

omnia hd video is hot as hell....pretty good.they... moreMan, your enthusiasm is remarkable, but it is understandable as well. But make no mistake, I am set to buy this phone (In Shaa Allah), no second thoughts. And I know I won't regret.
But, aren't you concerned about downloading the new firmware? it will enhance the overall performance, and not only the sound quality. May be it is not available to the Middle East yet, but I'm sure it will soon.

the omnia HD is very cool and its entertaining it has more specifictions than SE IDOU statio it has fast motion and slow motion video recording i tryed it

omnia hd video is hot as hell....pretty good.they said it got some problems with sound.but actually didnt happen with me.plus it sloves completely with all user after the new firmware i8910xxig2 .....u can check it out on youtube ,just type in the search (i8910xxig2),and the sound codec is Amr...but dont worry it 's good and not noisy,i gaurantee omnia hd 4 u man all the waaaaaaaaays....see u around
