And are you sure of this waranty thing? I mean it is illogical to by a phone for such a price (whichever of the two prices) without waranty!

hello,guys...i hope all of u fans of mobile phones read this carefully coz it's really usefull for someone who care about buyin' Omnia hd.
1- the biggest ever touch screen with 3.7 inches 16m colour.
2-well,talk about the amazing touch screen sensetivity of omnia hd and that cause of it's capacitive not resetive like nokia 5800 or n97 or htc hd,suffice it to say that 's the same kind of iphone touch screen.
3- 256 ram what's make it the fastest mobile phone same as iphone,on the other hand all of us know that n97 just 128 ram .
4- now let's talk about camera...it's really wonderfull..takin' photo as hot as hell.filming with it is damn crazy...i really adore it...the only exception is while recording in hd resolution ,it slow a lil cause of recording @ 24 fps , not 30 @fps,but since it has been the first mobile ever filming hd,then i can call great start.
5- when u talk about speed then u definitely talk about processor,let's say the best mobile processor nowdays is the ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz ,the only 3 mobile phones that have that kind of processor is ipone 3gs and it's already available ,sony ericsson satio (idou)and it's not available till now and omnia hd and it's available.
6- best os and it's Symbian OS v9.4 Series 60 rel. 5 the same os for n97,sony ericsson satio,nokia 5800 ,all i can say about it reliable.
7- last but not least very extended life battery which has Li-Ion 1500 mAh,i really like it after a long deal with n95 and nokia 5800.
p.s i was fan of only nokia mobile phones since 2000,more then 8 years,and really now the time is for omnia hd ,after the real experince with mobile phones i truley believe in omnia hd.
i'm from egypt ,cairo....and 4 u all guys in cairo try 2 buy it can be found in serag mall it costs me 4700 egyptian pound = 800 dollar...u can find it also in city stars in shop called sky group dont buy it from it ,coz it will cost u 5800 egyptian pounds,by the way it has no warranty,coz didnt realesed officially yet,sorry 4 my long issue but try 2 help all guys that have the same worries before i buy it,one last word i guarantee the omnia hd 4 u all ,u'll not regret about it....it's the best ever

Just wondering if you would be able to advise me mate. Would you say its better to sell this phone and wait the few weeks for the new release or ? Like when will you be able to purchase the new one off ebay and what price u rekn ? Whats your opinion there ?

Guys did anyone notice that there is a small dead pixel(S) in the HD video recording mode , only in the hd recording mode, it does not appear in the still picture mode or other video modes (other resolution less than HD resoluion)
I replace my device for the third time, and still it has two small dead pixels in the hd video recording

The N97 is good, but compared to the i8910, its weak.
Its got a slower processor, less megapixel cam, has no HD video recording and only has 128 RAm. The i8910 has 256 ram, so it runs games, apps better and faster.
I had an n97 because it was released first and I couldn't wait. But when I tried the i8910, I traded the n97 in straight away!

Anonymous, 26 Jul 2009where can I get the i8910 Ominia HD 16GB from in Mumbai Hey buddy what's getting you so excited? The phone is not even announced in India,and you are talking about 16GB? LOL. Wait for Singapore release and then AT LEAST 15-20 days it will take to reach India. I mean we will be lucky if it releases that soon.
BTW-I am eagerly waiting for this one too,from Kolkata.

ive owned both the n97 and the i8910, i have been a nokia fan for 10 years and unfotunatly the n97 has ruined it for me, it much slower than the i8910,
i would choose the i8910 over any nokia i have ever owned anyday.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY and REMEMBER: do NOT buy this phone i8910 because its touch screen sensitivity is very bad. It needs at least a minimum of 6 psi to register.
Only let me and whoever appreciating this awesome technology buy this phone, THANK YOU for LISTENTING!
