As of Tuesday 20th, July i will no longer be an owner of the Samsung Omnia HD 16GB... I have had this phone for just over 1 year and i have grown very fond of it!! But i am very interested in the upcoming Nokia N8 since really like symbian! Those who are using the HX-V7 or n203 firmwares there are alot more improvements to come n both modders will be porting new stuff from upcoming and existing devices to make the whole user experince better, u are in very capable hands!! It was fun while it lasted but... at things must come to an -end!! P.S. I really like the HX-V7 firmware especially with the HXPatcher.... HyperX really puts his heart n soul into this phone...

Well im not even sure if the procedure is actually flashing... but it is possible for the manufacturer to edit the imei number..... unfortunately i have no idea how they do it!!

i thought you got it sorry mate...
But, Mo is right...the new device should have the samsung seal unbroken and the phone should be covered by some protective films...
But, if the service center dont want to give you all the spare parts new(e.g. battery charger, battery etc...) then they might ask you to bring ur used phone box and unpack the new phone in front of you
This is my suggestion but others may have better idea...

This should tell you the time yr phone has been used or something. Should be 00:00 when you first booted it.

hello frends,
im very depressed..
i hv flashed my phone with hyperx v7..
worked flawless for a day..
i think its my mistake that i did hard reset *#7370# on my omnia hd..after then its not showing network connection..not able to pick any network..
i hv flashed modem to jc1, still no effect..
my hard luck and my sweety is dead now..
in case somebody knows how to make it work,
please help me out..

I want t... moreya frnd we can change the imei. in our locality [ india], there is a shop keeper who gives fake imei for just 50 rs [ 1$ app]. i dnt know how he does, u have to keep the phone to him for one day after that he changes the imei. so i think its possible

hamid is correct a new device would have a different IMEI number.... the IMEI can only be different if the IMEI on ur old I8910 was flashed to a different one... or the were actually given a new i8910!!
