Whats the easyest way to convert dvd to divx so i can watch movies on my omnia . ( on the samsung website there is "no conversion needed to play movies " i dont know what that means , thanks

I have been told by someone on this blog that it will be in South Africa at the end of June, and if you look on za.samsungmobile.com it says end of Q2 which is end of June.
But when I phoned MTN they said it will only be here the end of August. So I asked the guy about it and he said he is going to check with his source and will let me know. I really want this phone and my upgrade is end of July so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's out by then.
If you hear anything else please let me know, otherwise keep watching the site for the other guys answer.

Wow, I didn't know that. Wasn't it funny that a realplayer doesn't play its own format file? Like a DVD player that can't play DVD...
I would like to know whether Omnia HD is able to playback .rmvb, someone know please tell me. =)

Samsung is a decent brand, you can't be guaranteed it will last much longer than the warranty though. Not too sure about the apps though, hope there's enough downloadable software to compliment the hardware.

i was waiting for this phone , but now i think am gonna buy n86 8mp.
as they said we might fix the problem by a new software , but they are liers ( the innov 8 had the same problem and it never been fixed.

i personally would get the samsung.. although most guys seem to buy the n97!

Does this phone let you assign songs to the message alerts? I know some samsungs dont let you do that. And does it have photo-call? Thanks

good news to singaporeans..it wil be launching in sg on the 20th june if im not wrong.i called the samsung office to check out..the lady told me it wil be out on 20th.so yea..its only 4 days.actually 3 days..the day is already gone..OMNIA HD RULE SINGAPORE and shut all the iphone users.
