I really hope GSMArena, releases a review about this phone, & I can hardly wait for it. From various user opinions I can see that the phone is really good, & it sure surpasses the N97.

I just phoned the MTN depot in JHB and they say it is being released at the end of August. Any idea why Samsung's site say Q2 and MTN say only end August?

Hey, you can make SIP profiles and make the VOIP calls.......It works perfectly fine...........Am so happpy to get this handset but unfortunately am exxperiencing the same problem as most of the other users are, Battery. Its just draining so fast. Smbdy said its becoz v didnt charge for 10 hours be4 switching it on for the first time, if you right even then it cant be the issue that the battery is not lasting even 30% of the mentioned time!!!!! I think it has smthg to do wid the handsets available in Italy!!!!!

i thinc this blows the iphone away i hate the iphone its so overated the omnia has all the features the 3gs had before the omnia hd was released e.g voice video and go on as if they invented the technology the only strong point in my opinion for the iphone is the ui another thing people are teling me the cpu on the omnia hd is 800mhz and the 600 mhz was on the prototypes it might be tru maybe not.

Hello guys... there is a doubt that is a total deal breaker getting this phone for me and also many people as I see wants to know. Is that available the possibility to set SIP Profiles and Internet Calling profiles on this phone? I mean, is that possible to make VOIP call on it? I know that software like FRING can do the job, but using VOIP natively is much more comfortable plus we get a noticiable better audio quality... So please, someone that have to phone already, could please let me sleep at night again sharing this info! I got a Nokia N81, and much others nokia works great this feature, but recent Nokia S60 mobiles the Internet Tel. function was deleted, like N96, N78 and others... Cheers

tico, 14 Jun 2009 I had the omnia and I have to say it was a very bad exper... moreIt's really stranger to hear someone saying the i8910 is so bad they went back to the iphone. Saying that suggests you have no knowledge of phones or you never really had the i8910. The new iphone about to be released has just upgraded its spec to match the i8910. The new iphone haS now matched the i8910's CPU and RAM. The old iphone cannot compete with the HD in CPU and RAM. The only area the iphone can compete with HD is in touchscreen responsiveness for some people(to me there is no obvious difference) and probably design. Some people go on about available applications. Bottomline is symbian OS has been around longer than any operating system used on mobiles at the moment and I know because I have been using this operating system since it's inception.
