these stupid nokia and sony ericsson fanboys are trying to decrease the total rating of this phone because this is the only thing they can do, they cant make a better phone..
Omnia HD will be always the best even if you decrease its rating

i have te phone and i can tel its a good phone
and for me the sound is not that bad!
the only problem i have wit this phone is
that you dont see anything outsite in de sunlicht!!!
but for the rest its realy a nice mobile phone!
i am a phone dealer my self and its one of the best
phone that i ever had! here you have a sound and

is omnia hd able to make voip calls,can we define sip profiles like we do in nokia n82 or nokia n95? 5800XM is missing this feature.
can we use the themes that v use for 5800Xm on omnia??

If i buy this phone overseas, will i be able to use the navigator in Aus, or will i need to find/download Australia maps? i.e - does it use google maps (worldwide) or is it like TomTom (country specific maps)

i have it now for a week.sadly for my money i dont like it and really hate buying it.its far to big to put it away and even to use its not that whaaaw effect in the omnia i had before.its more like a flat screen in my pocket.battery life is also terrible pfff.for me its a never again,and a waste of money.

Perfo... moreHey listen, its already been concluded that the audio problem is because of the codec used, not the hardware. Tweaking is being done in the video recording application so that the quality of audio increases without the decrease in the quality of the video. The video recording application written with the AMR codec was perfect at the time with respect to the video quality along with the audio within the range of the processing capability of the OmniaHD. But now the application code is being edited in such a way that it uses a good quality AAC audio but does not decreases the quality of the video. As the application was originally written for AMR audio, therefore there were some problems in the starting, but now some major progress has been made by editing the application.
So, according to my source, this problem will be fixed in the next firmware, namely, I8910XXIE5. So, let's hope that this happens as soon as it is possible, so everyone can go and buy the OmniaHD happily without any regrets.

the only thing missing from the omina hd is the len cover and xeno flash it would perfect.
i going buy the omina hd over n97 i am dissappoint with nokia n97 for there excuse for price for cpu and ram and lower camara if nokia continue they would lose there serious fans with nokia n98 we are look forward for a monster flagship phone, should be powerful not weak, from the n95 and e90 you havent make any ture upgrade in your phone samsung as suppass our expectation samsung omina hd i8910 right now as we speak omina hd makes samsung market leader in the phone world
Hopefully the omina hd sucessor would have these addition feature to it fm transmitter, xeno flash 12mp and lens cover

Sound sync problems. Any mindless person could notice that. But even though the 3.7 inch AMOLED screen compensates, you would eventually feel that you have deceived. Its HD in video but not in sound.
I doubt that the update will fix the sound sync problems. The HD was just a market strategy and a great one.

Hey Everybody, Remember to vote for OmniaHD. Maybe some Nokia and SE fanboys are trying to take the rating of OmniaHD down. As you can see, before 10 days, OmniaHD's rating was:
Design: 8.8
Features: 8.9
Performance: 8.8
But now...you can see it for yourself. Whereas the rating of N97 have been continuously going up these 10 days.
So remember to vote for OmniaHD. Remember OmniaHD is No.1. Try to take the rating up as much as you can.

"It's out of stock"
so i replied
"But the out of stock phones have a large OUT OF STOCK logo on them so why not just do that with this too then?"
and they said
"It's in testing but can phone you once available!"
Ladies and gentlemen, i believe this is the first step in Orange creating a new firmware as this has clearly been removed from sale and they are doing the political answer game whilst they correct something in "TESTING".
Look forward to that firmware update then yeah!?

Is anybody else having issues trying to get HD videos from the phone onto the PC. If i film in HD, it plays back great on the PC, but when i try to save it, it only allows me to save it in very low resolution?
Any ideas?
Also i just heard that Orange has suspended selling this phone, whats the deal?

I've written to Samsung about this issue, as well as the poor audio and the lack of DLNA support for the audio codec. Just waiting on a reply.
