I too am very disappointed about the lack of the FM transmitter, and I'm glad many other people feel the same.
I was certain my next phone would be i8910, but after hearing about the bad audio recording and lack of FM transmitter, I might have to go with N97.

for me fm transmitter is a must(knowing that it comes with crappy LED flash) with better audio for vga recording. if i dont have xenon then I WANT THE OTHER FEATURES!!!!

the only thing that i ask is to have good quality video audio recording, but the Omnia HD have a big problem to face with his audio recording while recording videos!

FM Transmitter??? lol
I bet only a few people actually knew it WOULD have it. But now, when they WON'T have it, suddenly it has became a well-known fact.
I'm hoping for an Omnia 3 for Xmas this year, which will hopefully fix the problems Omnia HD had (audio, lack of FM transmitter, 32GB built-in etc.)
Else I might go for the N97...

i think ppl will never satisfy....
if samsung add fm transmitter, ppl will say where is the xenon flash, and if samsung add xenon flash ppl will say why isn't with WINMO, and if samsung add WINMO, ppl will say where is the hell TV out ????
and if samsung add TV out, ppl will say n97 definitely will beat omnia HD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you like this phone then buy it depend on the people if you like that phone beter its your opinion not all the people can have the same opinion
fm transmiter lol i think a eco version with a solar back panel like sharp will be something not a child
transmiter that can be buy from every corner
with two bucks in fact a good software update its one of the best thing a phone need not a lot of multimedia tasks but with bugs

Y the hell is everyone whinin about the FM transmitter... just pay like 3 pounds and get a radio transmitter...
Have you forgotten about 8mp camera - HD recording - Amazing 3.7" AMOLED display - scratch resistant screen - DNS and 5.1 Dolby sounds stuff... etc....
You left all that cuz it doesnt have a FM transmitter :S

just wondering, does this support some sort of multi touch cos multi touch is possible on capacitive touchscreen phones, and iphone is not the only phone which has multi touch.
