Mobilemaster, 08 May 2009This phone is good, but the Idou is best, choose the Idou, ... moreI don't want anymore phone from the amateur, my last Xperia was truly junk phone. Slow response, useless X-Panel, poor audio quality, poor camera, and fast drop price. I think HTC(Xperia maker) must release firmware update for Xperia, because SE R&D department don't know anything about WM. SE now doing "try & error" with their smartphone. Showing prototype phone "IDOU" to save their face. Releasing SF(Symbian Foundation) smartphone before Nokia ? Is it April joke ?

the only problem of samsung is the software side.

Personally, i'd wait until Nokia makes something like this. Samsung is like the Hyundai of phones. It's trying to outdo it's competitors with features but quality-wise still doesn't match up..same with phones. Samsung looks and feels cheap regardless of the abundant features. I'll never get a Samsung. TV's i'd rather get a Sony but that's out of topic. Just to show Samsung always fall short with quality. But phone geeks don't care..cuz they don't have a...well, you guess!

SAR is a bit on the high side 1.07 head. It's borderline. Features to say the least are amazing.
Nokia N97 SAR is far lower with 0.62 head. I'm sure most phone geeks don't care about this..ok

There were some who contradicted me, saying i8910 will be much cheaper than N97, thus being worth to choose the first. What about this price ?

If i8910 will be arround 500 euros, I guess every country currency will show you 524 dollars is lower than 500 euros. One more thing about the final value: N97 comes with PLENTY of accessories included in the box, while shabby i8910 has only headset and data cable. Now even a free phone has headset. Signed: an omnia lover but ...sad. Again in a mist when choosing between the 2 beasts.

Vidas, 08 May 2009honestly, I don't understand you guys who say that WM is be... moretotally agree, user interface of wm 5.0, 6.0 was the biggest shames of operating systems history, and symbian always did his job with perfect performance(even with cheap processors of suppliers) symbian is my man. and my 10 years old brother thanks iphone for its performance too.

I have Omnia Hd best phone i ever had..but a little bit too heavy..best screen..but sound is not so good like on nokia 5800 xpress..

it's a great looking phone, good processor, good graphics, good camera, pretty much good everythng!
It has a capacitive screen, which is what the Iphone has (therefore is able to provide multitouch)

I have a Pixon which is great, but its size is for me the max for a phone. So even if Omnia HD is super great and i would like to buy it, its enormous size is just too much. I suppose in a year they will launch the same half the size.

And the bright is not so clear... Too big screen. Im really dissapointed with this phone. I'd rather go for The Idou... Yes it's the monster..!
