And it is in vain if the battery lasts 2 days instead of 1 and 1/2 (30% more for amoled) if you don't see what's on the screen in the sunlight :( I am not fond of Nokia, I'm just trying to decide and not regret when talking about ~500 euros.

Anonymous, 04 May 2009www.samsung.com/uk shows Omnia HD using metal cover that site is outdated.. it is already confirmed that it is using a glossy plastic.. look it even said that omnia has 65K Colour TFT Screen

only thing that is tricky here is the battery life of samsung couse i dont relly think it can stand over more than 24h with that screen,i think it will be the same thing like inovv8

-search some videos from youtube, and you'll its supports TV-out cable
-Go to allaboutsymbian or phonearena and read there latest reviews, you can see that it is capable of handwriting recognition.
-search in google, and see than OmniaHD can support up to 32Gb of memory stick.
THE preview of GSM arena about omniaHD is too old.

If you click on http://www.gsmarena.com/glossary.php3?term=display-type you will see that capacitive does not support handwriting recognition, only resistive ones. Tv out for Omnia HD is not confirmed yet. I agree with you about slow processor from N97. Omnia has 8+16 or 16+16 gb. We don't know the prices yet. But thanks again.

-OmniaHD has TV-Out for nonHD/HD TVs via Cable just like nokias
-32gb of N97 is worthless with its SLOW processor, while OmniaHD can have a total of 48gb, 16gb+32gb(memory card)
-OmniaHD will release earlier and it is cheaper in price
-OmniaHD has faster processor than N97

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Few days ago someone posted a short clip (here or on phone arena) showing how this phone (i8910) and the i-phone can be seen in the sunlight. Because of its oled screen, you really have to guess what's on the screen. If you, philippines, have it, how is it ? Do you see anything when you're outdoors and on a sunny day ? Does it worth ? Or should I prefer N97's resistive screen ? AND this is for ALL the others reading this forum: should we prefer oled or resistive which enables handwriting recognition ? DNSE against qwerty keyboard ? 8 MP camera against 32 gb memory ? HD filming or tv-out ? Or should we buy the first which appears on the market ? My patience is running out: i8910 or N97 ?

forget the lens cover !if it don't have a mechanical shutter even picture quality cannot be as good as i8510 . and as i see it don't !!
