If Idou has 720p video, they would have announced at the show. Sony Ericsson can never make good video on camera, this is why they didn't show the video specs.

Ok the phone looks like any other samsung,LG or apple. But it records HD video. Which means it may take the place of my camcorder. NOKIA and SONY make ugly phones they need to copy samsung and LG. ALSO Why would you buy a phone with less features when you can buy the i8910 Omnia HD. It has symbian os which means you can get a app for just about anything. This has to be the best phone i ever seen. I like all the new phones but samsung is urinating all over the competition

All in all I think the Omnia HD is a better overall performer than the Idou as the latter lacks a long list of specs (starting with a 3.5mm jack)... I think the real battle is between the months old Touch HD and the recent Omnia HD!!!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Well my friend you're right, the greatest camera phone to be released was prevailed by Sony-Ericsson - the IDUO. Its 12.1 megapixel camera is more greater than proposed Samsung's SCH-B600. In optical supremacy it is the leader but in versatility, the Omnia remains the greatest.

After Samsung released the greatest mobile/PDA for versatility in the market, they again prevail its twin (the better one). People keep arguing the functionality while they can see the sheet it show. For iPhone fanatics, better think. Why spend money, parts and functionality while you can enjoy the greatness Omnia has to offer?!

Nokia N 97 & X Peria, what do they have in common, an antique like key board. They are museum pieces & nothing more. Accept the fact that Nokia does not enjoy the luxury of being tagged, the world leaders in mobile technology, any more. Samsung leads & LG, HTC are fast on their heels.

Um, where's my slide-out QWERTY keyboard? The Idou doesn't even have this. I'll definitely be going with either the N97 or the Xperia X1 this year. I'm a very unhappy iPhone 3G user and have wanted a full-featured phone with a physical keyboard for the longest time now. 720P at 24 FPS. Big deal. The video doesn't look that much better than it does on some other phones, and we have yet to see how it captures any motion. And 8MP? Who needs photos THAT big anyway? What else does this phone REALLY have going for it. I don't see what the Idou has either, personally. 12MP is enough to cover your living room wall.
