I have an unlocked Omnia with cooked custom ROMs by experts and it rocks with 2 days battery life, fast UI response, GPS voice guidance sw, video recording which iCrap iPhone lacks. iPhone is very popular for useless games. lol even my Omnia still looks better professionally . Now this awesome new Omnia HD will be the new king for many year to come. so long iCrap iPhone fan boys.

Now we will se the hardware specs of i8910 compared to sony ericsson idou..who will wins?

But omnia probably has more powerful chipset platform to rec n play full hd vid..gsmarena says,with pre release firmware omnia hd can play 3mbps bitrate..(even xperia limited at 1mbps),thx to omap 3430 platform!
Omnia wins at display with bigger 3.7 inch plus hi quality AMOLED tech compared conventional TFT of idou..and yes,omnia hd screen layered by scratch resistant (mineral glass hardened!)
So if u wanna movies multimedia experience take samsung i8910

This is completely my personal opinion...but I would have to say that there will be a delay in the release of this model. For some reason, Samsung haven't released any OLED phones....even though they were the first to announce it...non released. Are they having trouble landing a deal with OLED suppliers?? does anyone know?

Manassés Martins, 16 Feb 2009Still no TV-out functionality?!? Samsung Omnia HD have 3.5mm AV-Out. AV mean Audio/Video. U can use HDMI port for ur high end LCD HDTV or u can use 3.5mm AV-Out for ur HiFi, headset or conventional TV-Out.

Absolute Stunner. Im sure Samsung as scared Nokia on this one. Beats N97 in so many ways.
Also revolutionary 3.7 inch OLED means every manufacturer flagship will have to have OLED from now onwards! Guess apple has time to integrate it on the next iphone due in June!
I guess this would be the daddy of all high-tech fones of 09.

Zobi, 16 Feb 2009OMG is beautiful but why not 3G for USA??It has 1900 which is used in USA. That is what I use here in North Carolina on ATT. They use 850 is some locations but I believe 1900 is more popular for 3g. Ask your local carrier what they use and find out. I am buying one of these ASAP.

I'm surprised that samsung gives omnia touchwiz ui for omnia hd homescreen,it's s60..but i can say touchwiz very2 eyecatching! Omnia cpu also very2 strong..handles 3mbps vid..600mhz..this is the king of the kings..
