it seems that fix will take effect only to the frame rate issue not the audio sync one...
i already flashed to hxv3...but since i still have some bugs on it, i wanted to know if i given up and backed to an original one am i still be able to get that hyperx video quality?
Please let me know if u get that sync audio issue fixed with ur original firmware
And yes bro, it only focuses on the object u want to shoot just before starting video shooting...you press the shutter key halfway to get focused then make it fully pressed to start(just like the still camera), and unlike real video cameras, it wont keep itself focused while shooting... thats it...

With Pre-focus(as the name suggests) you will be able to focus on an object just before starting the video shooting(not during),not that great function to me though...
And, yes u can always reflash it back to an original firmware(your current should be available on the net if u want to get it back)

What u will miss when flash to hyperx as i noticed are,
Default preinstalled tones(get them here, http://rs815.rapidshare.com/files/366391516/Default_Sounds_i8910.rar (thanks Sajad)),
Help contents(dont know how to get them back),
Preinstalled wallpapers(they're nothing but phone memory eater),
Music player will only read files from the E:/music and it wont refresh the library every time u open it(somone correct me if im wrong...),
As some reported some wallpapers may cause the homescreen faulty but i didnt faced this issue yet(this bug have to get fixed via next update)...
The latest hyperx firmware (hx-v3-17) is the fastest and the more stable cooked rom + that constant, true 24fps with preciously synced audio while video shooting worths get ur hands dirty with it at least once...

Would just like to say thanx for the advice when you told me not to throw the HD out and hack it instead, i just put HX v3 on and i love this phone again, Hyperx is the man and samsung are lame for not supporting this phone

I guess sajad or others can give an insight into pre-focus.. sajad bhai, what exactly is pre-focus? Before the video recording starts, does it focus (like in camera mode)? what happens as the vid recording progresses? suppose we focus on some object close by and then start recording, then distant objects remain out of focus throughout?
