Is it possible to extract existing farmware from mobile. If possible then how? So, that farmware can reinstall.

well this phone is good and its Os is already upgraded the only problem is that this phone is getting older and older nevertheless this phone Samsung Omnia HD will always be the best thumb up and I wish that Samsung will not create a new brand phones bec. the other Samsung phones are getting older to fast...

My handset malfunctions in its volume control. During a phone conversation, the hearing volumes spikes to a very shrill level and then reverts back to where it was. Embarrasing to ask to repeat to the other person. Thrice Samsung Service station guys reformatted but there is no solace. These guys keep prompt call back but no action / replacement. In fact I will now return the same and ask for refund. Shall never buy Samsung again for sure.

What i am trying to say here is, when we get any new sms / miss call we get a pop on our screen....i am not getting that pop up. :-( it only shows icon of message and missed call on top-most right corner of screen. Am i able to explain??

Now about the sms and missed calls, did restore a backup after flashing?

To the people who are asking which one is better, HTC HD2 or i8910, I think Omnia HD takes the throne here.
Why I think it is better are for the following reasons:
1. Better Camera
2. HD video recording
3. Scratch resistant, 16m colour touchscreen
4. Better battery life
5. TV-out
6. Better sound output
The disadvantages will be primarily associated with processor speed, as HTC HD2 features a snapdragon 1ghz and a 4.3 inch screen, but thats it. I'll trade in a .6 inch smaller screen for the rest of the features anyday.

Hey ppl,
I'm thinking abt buying this phone. Seeing frm its specifications, I think it is definitely one of the best phones in the market which has all the features I want- good camera, xcellent screen, good battery life, cool audio system, tv-out. So, I want to ask the people who own this already- Should I go ahead and get it? Is there anything I should know?

go, 17 Mar 2010i hav omnia hd... from the last 6 months... now i want to c... moreya man go for hd2 and dnt forget to purchase 1 for me and 1 for my servant. plz frnd we need it and when u purchased 2 pieces [ for me and my servant ] plz do send those phones through bluetooth to us, thanks in advance. and dnt forget to take the voucher with that coz my servant does not accept gifts without voucher.

And one more thing .. when i get any new sms or miss call..it doesn't show on screen when i unlock screen....suggestion guys .. thnx
