Initially it... moreAndroid 2.1 does not have support for flash and so if you haven't upgraded your firmware from this, then your phone will not have flash 10.x support. Starting from android 2.2 and up, android phones (including the SGS of course) will have the capability. Just update the phone and download the adobe flash from the market. Latest version is 10.3.x.

hello my fellow mobile lovers,
I have 9000 GT for about 2 weeks now. I have bin waiting for a long time for its price to get down and in the end it was worth it.I have also bin reading most of the review's and comments by users and its pretty evident that this phone is hard to miss. 1st off, the froyo version which came with the phone sucks (lags nd crashes often ).After a week of using it on froyo I decided to upgrade to 2.3.3 gingerbread(yes its available in INDIA through KIES V 2.0.1.1105366 which u'll get from the samsung site).Soon after I did this, the performance of the device is at its best (no lags at all, improved battery performance .etc).
The next thing i wold like to say is for all those who are confused abt getting 9003 or 9000....personally I will also admit dat I had the same comfusion when i was goin 2 buy. But the AMOLED disply is literally mind blowing( yes the iphone 4 may hav more sharper displays, but am compairing to the phones in its segment).The next best display which I think is only on the S2(but its much more expensive).
SO FOLKS DON'T BE CONFUSED GT-I9000 IS YOUR PHONE.U'LL NEVER REGRET FOR THE EXTRA PENNY'S U PAY. I ADMIRE SAMSUNG FOR BRINGING UP THIS FINE DEVICE.

I mailed and asked samsung india about OS upgrade of I9000 and I9003, they replied saying no official info yet about upgrade to gingerbread... need to bear with them till official upgrade arrives...
then from where did the forums members claim to have got I9000 upgraded OS to 2.3.3? what about I9003
Also pls tell whether I9003 has Adobe Flash 10.1 support?
And would be helpful can you can suggest which one to go for I9000 or I9003

Go into messaging, then press the left soft key and select Settings. Halfway down you will see the option - 'Delivery reports'. Underneath it states - 'Request a delivery report for each message you send'.
Tick the box !

Yes it does. But all you get is a notification that the message has been delivered. It doesn't save the report for future reference like on a Nokia phone.

This SGS Galaxy S phone are very nice. It's like iphone 4. My all friends plz think about xperia x10 that phone easy broke but SGS Phone batter than that.

What version is it 2.3.3 or 2.3.4?
If not 2.3.4 any idea when that would be aval?
Also kindly let me know If Galaxy S has Flash 10.1 included? so that websites can be smoothly accessed...
Still hard hard to decide which one to buy SL I9003 or S I9000... any help on this is also appreciate
