in market search ocean waves live wallpaper and see if it works.

GUYS pls help out.
I am facing a very peculiar problem on my galaxy s.
I have gone with a no. of software updates.
But havent found out a solution.
Whenever i call somebody and remove the phone away from my ears . the brightness tends to increase automatically.
this does not happen always but many a times.
i am not using auto-brightness feature.
PLZ HELP.!!!!!!!!
I tend to keep the brightness at about 20-30% but it itself increases to 90%.
wat should i do.???

the latest one is 2.3.3 for galaxy s, and it works better thn 2.2

Bought one recently and had to give it out, the battery is horrible drains too fast when fully charged my battery drains out under 4 hours

Samsung better get out update to Gingerbread fast. Their update to my Galaxy S in the UK, made it worse. None of the problems below happened with 2.2.1
1- It freezes and crashes frequently, almost everyday.
2- Music player stops for no apparent reason.
3- When you press the End button to terminate the phone call, the phone application goes into background but call is not terminated. You cannot access the phone application again the bar stays highlighted in green.
It is no excuse that the customers are on other networks. It is customer experience that counts and networks should sign up to that. Samsung please learn that it is customer experience that matters and look at Apple not just mimic their products.
Please instead of shipping dozens of varieties of the same product that you cannot support just concentrate on few that you can support and give customers positive experience.

Go to Settings/Wireless and network/Mobile Network/Access Point Names/
Every phone network operator has different settings for the APN. You can usually find the settings from the internet - search for the name of your phone network operator and APN.

After 2.3.4, speedonic, no more heat, battery like hell^^ and the UI is fast. Last whole day on a HEAVY use test yesterday.
