hy der guys i tried this approach to sync the fone bt it does not work: HOW 2 SYNC A GALAXY S FONE?
elect 'mass storage' from usb settings...then turn on 'usb debugging' from settings>application>development...then connect to pc via usb cable...then bring down the notification bar...then select 'select to copy files from/to ur computer'...mount ur sd card when prompted...2 removable drive will appear on 'my computer'...select the 2nd one...copy paste files into it and enjoy :D and another thing drivers must be installed from kies...
IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY THAT I CAN SYNC THE FONE TO DOWNLOAD FROM MUSIC & VIDEOS FROM A PC...?

Was able to purchase the sgs-i9000 only in mid-2010 in India though others around the world had been using it for months. Now the sgs-2 (i9100) has been announced and mark my word, India will be one of the last countries to get it. Unfair, considering we pay more than Europeans and Americans (sgs-i9000 costs $560/- = Rs.26000/- approx in the US. I paid Rs.29000/- for it in India). Otherwise, I've been more than satisfied with my sgs. It's a brilliant handset.

yesterday I bought this beautiful phone by surprise it came with 1650 mah battery.I was confused whether this is galaxy s or galaxy sl.I had a look over the carton box and the screen and happy to find it was galaxy s i9000.I am from india.Anybody else bought this phone came with 1650 mah battery.

need help.
My froyo galaxy s is totaly death 1hour ago.when i use video recorder before it reach fourth minute,it suddenly death while the battery is full.unable to restart.i also reinsert the battery,8gig card,sim,but still no lifeline.anyone can help?first aid action maybe.thanks alot guys

Skype Video Call is possible to do with this smartphone?(or just a normal call is ok for me..I really need this feature or i have to buy apple iphone! :( )
And the standard battery 1500mah is it possible to swap with the 1650mah of the new samsung galaxy i9003?

chandan, 22 Apr 2011Is it a offical release from samsung.no bro...the official one will take few more "MONTHS" to reach India through kies !!! the one i am using its from XDA devlopers and its prty stable...u can download gingerbread rom at ur own risk...i did it coz i'll be changing my sgs i9000 soon for sgs-II...and i didnt wanted to wait for samsungs official release since as always i knew they wont be on time regarding gingerbread update for India...

I'm using it, great smartphone , easy to install applications, many free.
the weak point is the camera, NO FLASH, and the color
are not as real. but if using the camera application:
"camera360" the pictures are great, and many options
and affects.

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2011Hi all sgs user, recently i got my sgs come wit froyo 2.2 n... moreHi no u don't have to restart the phone if you feel that your phone is getting slow after long use it means that you have to many apps running in the background just place the android task killer(u can download it from the android market its free)and put the app on the homescreen and whenever u feel that the phone is running slow just open the task killer app and kill the apps that are running in the background hope it helps....
