get it out of ur head.. Nokia is shit.....
no doubt android is the best but even an iphone2 would beat N8.... get into facts...
Buy any one of them (apple,Android symbian/megoo) and try them out by ur self... not look at the videos.. every new Phone looks good in first Boot !!! its about how they evolve according to ur likes and dislikes... and android does that best...
Even with Iphone ur limited.... Android = Freedom!!!

There is a bit of SAMSUNG in almomst every smartphone. Be it Displays,Processors etc. So think before cursing SAMSUNG coz if you own a smartphone then your phone might be carrying a bit of samsung in it.

Anonymous, 13 Nov 2010Try to remove your battery, and leave it out for a minute, ... morei did all tricks like heat trick,different combination of buttons,adb prompt command... . but sadly nothing is working.my phone is in under warranty,so i think i'll submit my sgs to samsung service center.if suppose any hardware issue is in phone,can this covered it under warranty.or i have to pay for that ?.

I had exactly the same problem but removing the battery kind of reset the phone so it could be put inte download mode again. I hope it works for you to.

i accedentaly disconnected my sgs while updating 2.2 via odin and now my phone is not working anymore.it shows pc---!---phone message.i tried combo button recovery and download mode but nothing is happend,shows same message.my pc is not detecting my phone.
plz help me what to do now?.
is my phone is bricked...................
