I got SGS and updated it to Froyo 2.2. Its got flash. plays all flashs content on internet.
And for the Nokia moron here. YOU ARE CLUELESS.
This phone is an iphone4 killer also.

One more thing..are the gameloft games not meant for india? I tried to download the free trial but it stooped in the middle everytime

Hi..i got my phone a week ago..i canot find new widgets for it..also of it possible to get the htc home screens on the device?
also I am facing a weird issue..when I open two or more windows in the I'nternet, it keeps switching to the first window on its own..
One last thing..i don't want my phone to die out when running am application..any solution for this??

screen broke, 11 Nov 2010hey guys my galaxy s just felt down and now not responding ... moreIt's probably broke dude... let it repair.
Im very happy with the SGS i just upgraded to android 2.2 i "rooted" it and then installed lagfix, it runs so smooth now!
Great phone for sure.

i am proudly using galaxyS. its a good device.
however, if i dont use the internet for long time/or if i remain outreach of network its get disconnected from data service. i have to restart the device to get back to net.
is there any remady of this. i have to do this every two/three hours appx.

Guys juz wanna ask about ds updates thingy lyk updating to froyo. Since SGS I9000 phones hav d same build whether its made in india or china, y r d updates are only available in some area and some other country lyk india r asking 4 updates? Why dont they juz download d same update frm other country nd update dr phone from dat? Is there a compatibility issue f ur SGS was made frm difrent country and update it wd another country updates? Is it about the langauge used on phones? I need a profesional opinion bout ds. Tnx 4 d kind reply

I own 4 Samsung phones now.
1. i8510 INNOV8- Best solid phone Samsung ever built. twin speakers fanastic sound. With cooked rom it gets 8 days battery life.
2. Samsung D600- also great phone (laying in drawer)
3. OmniaII Pro B7610 with slide out keyboard running WinMo 6.5 Not a bad phone.
4. Finally my newest the Galaxy S and I am totally in love with this phone. Just got Froyo 2.2 last week in the Netherlands and it is blazing fast.
This one beats ANY iPhone model .
Only thing that is about as good is some HTC stuff.
People buying iphones pay thru the nose for a LOGO.
