ANYONE PLS HELP
I am using SGS in india baseband version (DDJG4).
After going through the phone deeply i understood the REASON OF ITS LAGGING Whenever the PERSONAL DATA section in TASK MANAGER goes up i.e from 40mb to 85mb / out of 127mb. My phone starts lagging, and i m very sure that this is the reason. Because when ever its low at around 15mb to 20mb(accidently) the phone really works good I dont know how to clear the memory of PERSONAL DATA.
I Tried everything from deleting the messages and email, infact i deleted a whole email account then also nothing happened the memory remained the same If anyone knows a way to clear the PERSONAL DATA memory in TASK MANAGER please let me know

Ive had 2 faulty galaxy s phones, android 2.1 to blame, nothing can be done until 2.2 available which samsung and google both don't even know a release date, even though 2.2 already out on many other phones. Its good phone, but the OS lets it down. Don't see how 2.2 can be out for other phones such as htc desire but not out for this. Faults I've experienced include major slowness, doing things I'm not pressing to, not responding for hours, crashing, not loading photos, and not locking screen, locking screen when I'm not pressing to, proximity sensor being paranoid and not letting me end calls so I have to wait for other person to hang up, and many more things.
Technology in general, built to break so you buy another. Such as xbox's ( 33% break rate, ps3 0.3%)

I turn off antivirus,uninstal kies,delete c:\programe file\samsung,clean the registry,reboot laptop,turn off antivirus,install kies and it worked..

Finally, I just got my SGS... and it's f****n amazing. My close buddy bought Iphone 4 and when he saw mine with the live wallpaper on the background, he was like stunned for a minute.
PS. I still have my Omnia HD though.

My neighbor has an iphone 3GS and was blown away when I showed her the SGS.
I was undecided between HTC Desire and the SGS and am glad I chose the Galaxy. The Super Amoled screen is fantastic and the 4 inch screen is just the right size.
The built in video converter converts just about any video format and I watch TV shows on it. Full screenn awesome quality.
Speaker is not the best but I use Jabra 3030 Bluetooth Headset. Fantastic sound.
The Android is very fast.. much faster than the iphone.
also you aren't sent to a place like itunes to sync the thing.
Battery removable also.

Rozi, 06 Nov 2010HEy i have a galaxy gt-i9000... i installed oprea 5.1 and 5... morei also downloaded opera 5.1 and it works just fine just search 'opera for android v2.1 or 2.2 which ever u got and u will get the right links plus u can download other browsers like uc browser mozila x scope etc from the android market

Got my Galaxy 6 last week and I must say I am blown away.
Had an OmniaII and it sits in the closet now.
Amazing screen., updated to Froyo 5 November.
I am so glad I didn't get an iphone.
This phone totally rocks.

hi samsung i am shunni , i am good fan of u r mobiles . i am almost all models of samsung mobiles used . finally i am waiting for this galaxy s . i am shocking to sea the galaxy s specifications about the 5 mp cam . i hate 5 mp mobile cam , it's very poor qlarity . i think 8 mp is better for this mobile . soo plzzzzzzz samsung change the cam 5 mp to 8 mp .... defenetly u r galaxy market will be rise ... u know one thing soo many number my friends r desided dont purchase this mobile because only the 5 mp cam . soooo plz change it 5mp to 8 mp iam ready to purchase .... thanq
