please anybody can confirm whether stock trading(full site)or internet banking can be done on galaxy browser...i.e.secure site browsing
i am about to buy it ...but ssl browsing is must or windows mobile is the only option

I now have XWJPA from http://www.samfirmware.com/ installed using Odin, and I roted using this method http://www.samfirmware.com/ , and I installed "Eris Market Fix" from the Market to fix the problem with not being able to see all my paid for apps.
I do not use any lagfix, and it works with very little lag and quadrant-score is not really relevant because lag is no big problem on XWJPA. I get a gps-fix from cold-start in less than 5 seconds, but it is not always showing my exact correct place but close enough for me.
Titanium Backup is realy recommended before installing a new firmware.

This is the best smartphone i have ever seen.i am using it since 1 month and i found it greatest.now using BSNL 3G in it.It works great.The speed of net is very fast.Its video call function also works great.

I tried wi-fi tethering and it works like a charm too. Skype had no problems as well, good call quality even on !dea edge network. So much satisfied so far!

For vodafone internet usage on this phone you have to activate vodafone mobile connnect(VMC) only. Ther are other GPRS services offered by vodafone but none of them working on this phone. Only VMC is working properly. But this is too costly 200Rs per month , plus data usage @5paise/10kb. Finally I can say for vodafone users the internet usage on this phone is too costly. If you come to know some other vodafone plan do let me know.

I get 65 Mpbs to 72 Mpbs when connecting to my 802.11n single band router. Is there any router that connect at a higher speed to your Samsung Galaxy S?
