I have been using galaxy s plus i9001 for few days. And it is better than this set in terms of speed and battery timing. I would like to know whether these custom roms can work in galaxy s plus as well?

I would recommend flashing slim rom jelly bean 4.2.1. It is very customized and the most amazing rom I've ever used. I bet you'll love it.

The Brat, 27 Jan 2013I'm buying a new memory card.. SanDisk 16GB Mobile Ultra, ... more@The Brat
I have used the 32 GB version of SanDisk Mobile Ultra on the Galaxy S, it works fine. PC speed test H2TestW 1.4: Write 10.8 MB/s, read 31.7 MB/s. If you put your photos on the card, the gallery app is significant faster. I now use an even faster microSDHC card Samsung Pro 32 GB, write: 18.2 MB/s, read 54.3 MB/s, however that gives no noticeable speed advantage, probably both cards exceeds the Galaxy S interface speed.

                Samsung Pro microSDHC:

just go to xda-developers.com i9000 development section and find a ROM you like. I currently use C-ROM Mix v4 with TouchWiz from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1925195
                                        Have fun...
