What an amazing phone............
It would be of great help if someone Can tell me a website where to download movies[HD and othe stuff] directly to the galaxy. Can I use UC web browser to download them directly?

wh... moreIf you aks Nokia-fans/fanatics they will always say N8 is the best phone in the world, even though it only have 256 mb ram and only have 680 MHz processor and only have 1200 mAh batterry and Symbian3 is still only Symbia.
Desire HD is a very big "phone", almost "tab", and it have the same problems as original Desire being unable to keep a stable 3G-connection, and only 480 x 800 pixels on that big 4.3 inches screen.
I do not know how good HTC HD7 is, but I now fear all new phones from HTC have the same 3G-problems as Desire and Desire HD.
Galaxy S is the best phone of all today, BUT only if you dare rooting it and install Froyo plus a lagfix.

my friends told that one cant send files from a phone with andriod os to phones with other os, is it true, if so how can it be done.... i'm planning to buy galaxy s that's wy i'm askin this..............

ive tried everything to install nfs shift no joy ffs i cant believe you have to go to this much effort to install a game the x10 installs without any problems shouldnt be like this in 2010 not like theres many good games for android phones infact cant think of any really good games...

I got this phone for about a week and I love it. It isn't perfect, but is very close to it. And I totally recommend it.

According to samfirmware, http://www.samfirmware.com/apps/blog/show/5196562-samsung-starts-froyo-updates- , Samsung will start delivering official froyo next week, and it can already today be downloaded on samfirmware.com and installed using Odin. I installed XWJPA, but I uninstalled again because I think jpk was more stable and better for me, even though jpk only have mono FM-radio and XWJPA have stereo.

wheres the photo and video editing software gone because i sure as hell havent got it on my galaxy?neither the car or home dock bit was hoping for more on the camera front to be honest...cant believe i sold my desire for this its such hard work doing anything even the lock screen is a pain why move a whole panel and not a bar like most phones and live feeds from facebook or myyearbook is nowhere to be seen sometime you get a message as naemail but thats only so often list of bad is getting more a i use it..

I want to buy an android phone and i really like the samsung galaxy s. i dont want to use the desire hd because i already have the htc hd2. Is this phone worthy to buy now for the next one year at least or is there something big around the corner? Thanks

GReat phone does everything u could wish only one thing wrong no flash which appz may need but non the less its the best phone out there atm

2. Go to Menu > Setting > about phone > USB Setting > Select Samsung Kies.
3. In Samsung Galaxy, file can only be transferred through kies only

what are you guys doing comparing the HTC DHD (Desire HD) to the monsterous SGS!?? what's it got that SGS doesn't? a flash to the camera?
come on HTC DHD's got 1.5 GB internal storage, no secondary camera, bulky and too heavy, and it really looks ugly! SGS is without doubt the best device in the world today!

okay friends my problem has been solved i used the mozilla browser to download avi and other movies and installed various video players(act 1 video player is the best and i highly recommend it)from the android market now i can download and watch almost any movie on the internet havent tried the UC browser as yet but i will tell u when i try for now go go galaxy cheers
