dear friends and knowledgable supports of samsung. please help. i bought this phone 2 months back. downloaded samsung kies and synced data to PC. now for last 1 month, on connecting phone to PC, kies just doesnt recognise the phone. i even uninstalled kies and re-downloaded but still no recognisation of phone by kies. please help i have some important data that i need to save. it doesnt given sunchronise by bluetooth. please help.

i have a major issue with the market after i updated my OS with 2.1-update1
every time i want to download and instal an application from android market it freezes at "starting download" and it stays like this forever...
i found some ways to resolve this but they all involve rooting the phone and i wouldn`t want to do this because i will lose the warranty...
please help me!

again uk samsung has confirmed the update will be delayed till the end of this month...... may be later on when month ends they might have say next month..... this is nothing but to keep the sale on..... great work samsung

Darshan, 06 Oct 2010Someonce said rooting wil improve performance, thts why.. B... morerooting wont improve device performance but it allows u as a super user.... if u root the device then apply lag fix which will improve ur device performance more and its avail in market its a safe one to use
k if u wana root ur device this is the easy way to do follow the link below....

I was replying to the post that appears two above my initial post on 2nd october. It was from a paul and it contained no help whatsoever, just fanboy-like language.
If you are a different paul who has been genuinely helping out with peoples handset problems then that is cool and im sure it is what we all want to see more of.
I apologise if I offended the wrong person because, as i said, I was directing my ire at the jeb end who slated my initial post about the UI on 2nd Oct.

I have checked forwarding options...forwarding calls are disabled. Also call barring is disabled. Also I have not setup any mail.
