This is an android OS based phone. you cannot connect to the blutooth other than android, unless you have root permissions. check for blutooth android. you'ld get to know. till then u may try connecting to android around u, if available.

Anonymous, 04 Oct 2010samsung is shifting to S-LCD for wave 2its not s-lcd which is made by sony... its clear lcd which is made by samsung buddy may be sharper than amoled screen

in froyo beta verson galaxy performs faster no lag issues and browsing is faster ui is improved as well so after a update the phone mustbe great am using jpk froyo which performs faster than ever and scores quadrant 1850.....

Which is better I9000 or N8? i know both are very different one is android & other is symbian still wat would you suggest.

its been months since ive been using the samsung galaxy s and I am still satisfied. Just waiting for the update to improve the overall quality of the galaxy experience, flash vid is what im waiting for.
Some interesting points: (my top ten in no particular order)
1. it plays almost every video file out there, even .flv extensions on that gorgeous super amoled screen!
2. Although I can only use edge data speeds in my location, its pretty much a social butterfly with email and social networking, not to mention news feeds
3. battery is pretty good if ur not constantly using the data features, other than that, the Galaxy S has never let me down.
4. camera features are pretty awesome even without flash.
5. homework on the go with that office app, editing and saving work has got me on top of things
6. most apps on the market are entertaining enough and make the user experience on the phone enjoyable
7. love the fact that the front facing camera can be used for still shots
9. networking blows me away, the galaxy s and my Ps3 love to interact with each other
10.looks awesome, with or without the silicon case, the galaxy s looks classy so I don't understand the complaints about the plastic build, it just makes he phone incredibly light and pocket-able.

Obviously this website doesn't like links to anywhere else and changes them somehow so you can't just click them... guess they want to be difficult.
Thank you for answering. I obviously don't have the phone & the stores here don't have it, so I CAN'T TRY before I buy. Hence my asking the lovely people here who might know if that review was correct. The review HERE talks about the sim contacts in a slightly different context... so was hard to tell.
