i have a big probleem with my galaxy.
mine gps ... moreMy old N97 mini could find sattelite signal in less than 30 secunds from INSIDE my appartment. GPS and signslquality is the only thing that is good with Nokia-phones.
xxjpk came out at almost the same tima that the official froyo-update was supposed to come, but jpk still lags and gps is nowhere near the Nokia-quality. The lag does not show itself until you install and use many apps, so those who say Galaxy S does not lag probably have not yet used the phone enough for the problem to show itself. I fear Samsung will not be able to fix the lag at all with any update and that they will abandon the phone after the Froyo-update.

regarding battery I can not say anything bad... i listen to music on it 2 hrs a day, and it manages to stay alive 60hrs+. i charge it over night and then 3rd day after using it put it on charge for night again... for smartphone I consider it very good... I do not talk too much, but I send many sms messages, and I think it consumes more power since the screen is on, but while talking it turns off...
so batterywize it is good, only crappy thing about it is update delays, and no led for notifications, if you are used to them... but screen sensitivity is amazing compared to my htc magic...

Anyone have any idea if the wallpaper can be set to show the whole photo? I have the Omnia HD and it's wonderful to see my wallpaper showing the whole full photo. This Galaxy can't! When I want to set the wallpaper, the sizing option only allows me to select which portion of the photo to show as wallpaper! I am so disappointed! Please help!

People are desperately waiting for official froyo version...which i am hearing Tht it does better battery power management. ...
Currently, from completely charged after hearing music for abt 6_8 hrs sgs cuts off music saying batter low...
But its not bad for a smartphone. .. My frnd is working for Samsung service center n said new battery will cost 700 bux. ... Im planning to buy one. .
Last we can't trust Samsung abt froyo version...

Samsung Mobile UK released on the 30 Sep 2010 the latest Samsung Kies 1.5.3 software.I have read that lots of people has problem synchronizing with Kies.I really hope that this updated version of Kies will be useful.
