Sadly people are too lazy to atleast look up or read up about a phone.All u people do is cry about battery life and stuff, please, help yourself and read up about it.
There are applications out there and help and improve your battery life, and if ur battery life is crap now, give it time.Samsung should bring out an update to help with the phones battery usage and improve it.
Just have patience.Btw the app to improve battery life is Advanced Task Killer, which u get from the market.
Just TRY learn how to use your phone, this isnt 10 years ago when u just got a phone and it worked, now u must atleast put some effort into improving your experience with your device.

But nokia 5800 can play up to approx 2days

I dont see the good thing in this phone?
1. The 4.0 screen size increases the chances of screen cracking.
I and my kid use nokia 5800 as a football in my room and nothing happens to it.
2. There is no difference between 800x480 and 640x360 unless you use magnifier glass, and i am not blind to use that.
3. Mmmmm they call theirs super amoled, then others can also call theirs supreme or superior amoled.
4. It is android, who is a very fat woman and needs 1ghz and 512mb ram to walk faster.
5. Oh! Mono FM radio, no stereo. Then it is a phone with no FM radio
6. I dont want to hear about that nasty 5MP camera.
7. No usb on the go!!
8. We are talking flashlight 4.0 and you are here discussing flashlight 3.0
9. Where is the HDMI? No HDMI? Yes, there is no HDMI port, they try to do it but they couldnt.

SGS is a great phone..
I am using it from past 4 weeks...
It has prob with GPS, battery life and Background running applications.
Main concern is battery life, ....

This phone is fast as hell! I only wait for about 30 seconds while it reads the sd card at the phone starts. The major issue is the battery. I am on a vacation and I like walking. I use the google maps when i am not sure of my direction. And up to now, the phone never survived for 10 hours! I read reviews that said it gets better after a few charges, but after about 8 days, nothing got better. For sure you need a spare battery if you plan to use it a lot.
When you look at the battery usage, you see the killer is the screen. still, many apps use a white background and black txt. White is a battery killer, so it should be white on black, just like the phone menu. so, if you find out how to change application colors, set them to be white on black.

Dont compare NOKIA smartfone.
NOKIA doesnt hv a smartfone. they make fones for general public. they cant match technology in terms of speed, OS development
their cameras r home-made. nokia will take years to match latest technology. sorry nokia. u r just a fone not smartfone.

I am going to share my experience with samsung. I was SE user since beginning n had to switch to sasung coz thr wasnt any android fone in SE. samsung i knew is worst in customer service, but still i took a chance. I confirmed that they have worst customer service.
1. they promised to release new firmware for android fones, but launched new fone.
2. they give u specs like 800 MHz with really works like 400 Mhz processor. even low speed processor of SE x10 mini z faster than galaxy.
3. PC Suite doesnt work. thr r third party s/w available, but samsung hvnt developed for android.
4. they recruit cheap enggr to write s/w
5. touch screen of samsung is worst. though LG screen is worst worst worst.
6. androids desktop app pantheon is buggy n laggy
Dont go for cheap samsung. better go for motorola n htc.

Even after 2 years they can't match Samsung config its impossible. If sum says Nokia beats Samsung in gprs but Samsung beat all the way other than gprs

[deleted post]boo...samsung galaxy s have a faster processor than any nokia model...and i think this is more important,coz even a higher class gprs wont make ur phone perform faster...3g are faster anyway.
