i got coneection problem:sometime can connect some time
cant connect,but i change to other phone the sim card it can connect with other phone.and i try mms in galaxy s it work,but the conection to internet dont work.pls help me plssssss

2.Go to samsung dot com and download support software called kies

When I first start GPS it shows me 3km away from original place but with just a little bit of movement(200 metres or more) it shows correct position. I had trouble with this always showing me somewhere else. Now during travel its quite apt. But they should have included a google map(with almost full maps or option 2 store areas) that way v dont hav 2 use GPRS/3G....... I would suggest to try ur luck bcoz most say they havent been able to solve it.
Wait for .5 or 1 month wen froyo+ any update on firmware comes out u will have idea whether this.
problem is over or not.
Anyways I love this phone.Hope I was able 2 help you out

Had phone 1 day, and loving it! 2 questions though: 1,How can i change the alarm ring tone, and 2,is there a data suite for this phone, so i can transfer to it via data cable?

If samsung company guys do read this forum , I have one strategic suggestion ..... Presently , GALAXY is available in INDIA at around 27,500=00 rupees....SAMSUNG should ideally bring down the price to around 24,000=00 before NOKIA N8 is launched.....That will boost it's sale & things will become difficult for nokia n8.....

also u can install Auto Task Manager from the Android Market to manage apps and to auto-kill them when the phone goes blank.

The only word I can think of to describe the Galaxy - Awesomeness. Design, weight, dimension, speed, functionality are nothing short of amazing and not to forget, the display is just mindblowing.
I've always been a fan of HTC but this 1 from Samsung had me stunned.

In my opinion
Both ios and android are the best . ios has better apps
but coming to hardware apple sucks everywhere (iPhone still has best touch screen and external design)
Samsung rules in hardware
All the tiny chips and delicate chips used in iPhones are from samsung
Even if u buy iPhone u are buying a samsung powered phone
In software terms ios got killer interface
But samsung rules in hardware
iPhone is indirectly a samsung phone running

Complete charging is taking 3-4 hrs!!! is it normal???
