Extremely smooth and quick. As fast as my desire but with more storage, super amole screen that is incredibly sharp. 720p video recording is also top notch. The handset is very light but still feels good quality, definitely the competition for anything Apple has to offer

Cool Heart, 06 Jun 2010Would anyone tell me which os is better android os or iPhon... moreHehe, Android VS iphone OS!! It's the debate of the year. Most people are fanatic about their own OS, especially when it's android or iphone. So don't expect unbiased opinions. Go Android Go!!!

the camera is good but don't expect something perfect. in sunlight, the colors are nice and vibrant but if you zoom 100% you can tell for sure that this is a cell-phone camera - maybe my expectations are too high because I own a DSLR :). anyway, in low light there is noise sure, but I would still call it as something better compared to previous phones I tried.

Samsung lover, 06 Jun 2010Can u tell me about? Its battery life with medium usage ... morei cannot talk about battery life yet, i only have it for 3 days. it lasted 2 days of heavy usage and now I've been using it normally and it's still full.

i didn't do any video calling yet, sorry.

the 8gb that I have was $699 singapore dollars (415 euro). I bought it from singapore, not online so I don't know what to suggest.

as for the 2.2 update: the guy there told me to manually install it (some kind of hack) I told him no because I was worried about problems I may face when I get back to europe. The main advantages are faster speeds, less battery consumption and adobe flash. at least that's what he told me.

I'll try to answer the most I can:

image/video quality is by far (for me) the most impressive factor. trust when I say this, the 1st time you see this screen you will go crazy. the only bad thing about images is that you see so much detail
that a medium-quality image on a pc, will look bad-quality on the galaxy.

I've found 2 ways to zoom, one is from the menu and one with 2 fingers. both work great. However, I didn't yet understand how an image zooms. for example when you open an image, its fit-to-screen but on first zoom it can go to 120% or 200% based on the image resolution.

The screen transitions are very smooth and the touch screen is very responsive. i tried to flip through menus as fast as i could and it works!

sunlight is not a problem at all.. far-far better than my vaio laptop and my nokia e71.

also i should mention that no matter how you bend the screen, it still looks the same.

I am sorry i don't know what tethering is so I can't commend on this.
