Lol, 21 May 2010People forget that actual Samsung's flagship device is Beam... moreWow, the only actual use of the samsung beam is jamming it over someones head with it's 15mm width.... also has quite some nice specs with 384mb ram and a design that makes me wanna puke.... ohh yea don't forget samsungs "actual flagship" is clocked at 800mhz ;) that is quite fast! riiiight

I really don't understand why r there no flash? HTC have several phone without flash (HD, diamond,pro, pro2), then hd2 begin to have flash b/c they know customers need one. Iphone does not have one but the 4G will, should be, because it 5mpx with 720 HD recording enable. Now Samsung is not having one with his professional phone? why?

One is proximity sensor and second will be acceler... moreThanks for your answer about the prox sensor, etc.. on the top left, I think the LED notification is on the front speaker on the right side just like on the HTC Magic, so that's good :D I really like my LED notifications hehehe. Can't wait for reviews on this phone, then will decide if I pre-order.

does samsung usually takes this lenghty of time to release a hp?
was first announced in march, got previewed a vids were uploaded into youtube.com
20th may, galaxy s was featured in IO Google as well (go chck d vids out on youtube.com). and yet still no news abt its official release.
htc evo 4g is now out. froyo has made its appearance too. samsung, wat are u waiting for?

no graphic Accelerator
no xenon flash or even dual flash atleast
no 4G support,after 4G release buy new mobile again
no FM Recorder/Transmitter
and its like cheap plastic dummy/demo mobile exbhited at mobile stores.

some people are just dumb, the phone will be flash enabled when it will get the 2.2 update, the 2.1 is not flash enableb the the 2.2 it will have, so the phone will have the flash enabled, read more before you post a useless comment

He/she was referring to the top LEFT of the phone on the FRONT of the phone. And for the person who asked what that is, i guess its LED notification lights like u suggested, but i don't know for sure.

The point is, device convergence. People don't want to take around their laptop, camcorder, camera, MP3 player, GPS and PDA.
People don't expect miracles from cameras on a mobile phone, even the N8 12MP looks a bit grainy (presumably because of the lens rather than the raw megapixels), but when they've been putting LED flashes on phones for years to get even more out of them, then people rightly ask for and expect a flash to be added.
This achieves a great middle ground at what I would expect to be minimal cost.

I am not sure if anyone has commented on the front top left of the phone where there appears to be 2 holes inside, are those led lights for notifications ?
