triple boss, 07 Dec 2011i have a samsung galaxy s too, but the problem still remain... moreInstall "Juicedefender" it saves lots of battery. You can slightly tweak your phone by changing data, wifi, network settings. Check for the useless running apps which are consuming your battery. Live wallpapers drain a lot of power. Also you can change you sync settings.

Hi ppl,
i desperately need help on this. hav got my i9000 4 mnths back. doing v well. bt samsung kies is a biggest disappointment. doesnt hav d option to tk a backup of messages as m having issues wit d fone as it simply hangs every now & then & i am luking to format d entire fone. i hav downloadd a s/w for message back up bt if i format my fone i will lose everythng. i hav taken contacts & videos bt need to back up applications & messages too. can anybody help me on this. will highly appreciate an early response. regards

i have a samsung galaxy s too, but the problem still remain the batery, pls how can i cut the consumtion by 80% pls advise... its a good phone i love it.. thanks.

AnonD-28300, 06 Dec 2011i used 'app to sd' app also i coudnt move it to sd using th... morewell i guess your memory card might be faulty. Only you know that. Maybe try another card. I read in a user manual that if we format (erase) the memory card a lot, that it can mess the card up.
you could try my suggestion with the program monitor....but i doubt thats just the problem.
It is possible to put a memory card in the phone that has so much on it, that it then takes up lots of the phones memory (even though most of your stuff is on memory card) and that then affects the phone and makes it laggy and memory issues. For instance if you take the card out the phone could run faster.
i would try another card, and maybe delete some apps you dont need off your phone,and the memory card. Then clear ram again, and try to move the apps to sd again.
last of all i would try a factory reset if you think it is possible to not lose important apps etc.

people say the sansung I9000 is good pending on the battery life but now that I have found a way to cut down charging time up to 80% and the best part is that it holds charge longer up to 6 days awesome

AnonD-28300, 04 Dec 2011Hi I can't move apps to sd whenever I try to move it says n... moreOK well its probably as you are using to much ram for other things in the phone. I'm not an expert, but what can help is things like the following (it helps if a game is lagging also).
I have android booster which essentially is a task killer, but what can be even more useful is to use the phones taskiller. Just press an empty space on one of the 5 homescreens, then pressure Widgets> Power Monitor. Put this on a homescreen. Then select it, then Ram> clear memory. (on froyo you get the option to clear all of the ram or partial if i remember right ). Also you can clear your browser cache and cookies as thats possible also to help a bit with memory, but that info like your saved usernames etc will need to be put in again when you next go online ( if you use many browsers like i do, then you can clear the cache and cookies of those also). There's no need to worry about clearing ram, as when you reboot the phone back on it will be as before (cache/cookies are different). I would also recommend android booster as its a great task killer where you can see whats going on with apps that you try to close, and which apps stay closed after you close them (by you checking it in 5 mins time you can see what apps have re-opened themselves).
I would guess if its a bug then you could also uninstall the app then reinstall, that is assuming that you are using an app to transfer apps to SD card. I use "APPS TO SD CARD" from market.

how is better in gaming as a grafic chip and grafic image .. not taking about playing so xperia have a gaming buttons
galaxy s i9000 or sonyEricsson r800 (xperia play)
