Nikola, 24 Nov 2012I ve tried with kies but it says the same thing 2.3.5 is th... moreu wont get anything new with upgrade to 2.3.6.My suggestion is to root,install twrp 2.2.1 recovery and cm10(android 4.1.2).That is very easy to do.U just need to download root file,twrp file and cm10 and gapps jb.Then turn off your phone.Hold volume down and power until u see android out of box.Then press menu button.Then u will be in stock recovery.Just go to install update zip and choose first root and then twrp.Then press reboot phone.When the phone turns on,turn it off and go to recovery again(vol down + power).Now u will be in twrp recovery.
Go to wipe-factory reset(u will lose all apps,then wipe cache,then wipe dalvik cache.When u do all that things go to install and find cm10 file(126mb,I think) and install it.Do that for gapps ics(90 mb) and press reboot again

Nikola, 24 Nov 2012I ve tried with kies but it says the same thing 2.3.5 is th... moreUse Odin and manually flash 2.3.6. That said, Gingerbread is laggy, buggy and highly cumbersome on the S+, you should try out ICS 4.0.4 or JB 4.1.1 asap, they're far better than Gingerbread.

I'm using Android 4.1.2/CM10 on this device and so far so good, smoother than ICS and no lags but there are still few bugs to be ironed out notably the fix for panorama mode and full butter experience (Vsync not yet working), else it flies!

Great phone as it has 1.4GHZ power processor, it's almost equal to Galaxy s2 and it saves 10000 Rs and more, felt one drawback as it has no flash

VIDEO record cannot touch to focus and no LED FLASH :( about laggy i think quite smooth :DD
