I like to share a real story about this model. I know many of you have encounter the same thing or I would says the same problem...? The phone will shut down and restart by itself when you use it like open too many apps and photos. Before it restarts, you will somehow feel that the phone started to slowing down speed....like it HANG!!! So you will know that its about time to off and on your phone again else you got to take out battery!!!! There's one time, I did not do it (restart the phone), I was at the public toilet and when I'm standing and doing my business (toilet) halfway, the phone restart by itself......deh deh deh den daaaahhhh.....the T-Mobile Tone!!! The power up tone in the Public toilet!!!! Hey, I don't think you want to use a stupid cum smartphone like that when you are a secret agent on a mission. You become the primary target and you will die.....you get what I mean!!!

actully one of my mental friend was fan of dis model....n he succeed to trap ma mind 7-8 months ago...n i purchsed it...some time i got mental as dis cel got hanged many time.....

Hi guys i used galaxy s plus since one year i dont have any issue untill today, i need to connect to my laptop (kies) for firmware upgrade but it is not connecting can anyone help me on this.

Hey, I have this phone since last november and it is driving me mental. It does not send any of my texts on the first attempt. I have to copy and pase my texts and the second time...No problem. Crazy and have had no satisfaction from O2 will definitely be changing my network and my phone once the contract is up.

I had this phone ...
Actually pathetic service from samsung care.
in this phone very weak body provide by samsung.
withing 6 months everything got crashed up like mine mobile.
Don't go with any samsung phone as they are not providing good service and body quality.

Samsung had sold millions of these Galaxy S and S+ devices (once the company's Flagship SmartPhones)and wants these users to buy newer phones rather than upgrading the old junk(in Millions). Looks they aren't efficient to port the new OS to their devices. Hope they have officially announced their inability as reported at www.androidadvices.com
That is reason these devices aren't listed in Jelly bean / ICS upgrades. Sony,HTC and LG are much better and faster in releasing upgrades.

Kies s/w dose'nt show the availability of Jelly Bean.

I have been using Samsung Galaxy S Plus for about 7 months now and apart from the slowness now and then there is no fault i could find.
I have only very essential apps and it helps to save the battery life....the amoLED is the feature i fell for..though 1 does think it should have had a flash and upgradeable option for the proce being quoted.
Overall the phone is awesome for an android...
the battery is the key aspect .. it stays for 15-16hrs even if i listen to songs...play games and surf and stuf...please note my 3G is always ON....so i am sure battery life will increase...

hey man sgs and sgs plus have a amoled with high ppi thus their processors have to push a lot more pixels and require more ram to handle them. man get a sgs advance or sgs2 or sgs3

Another way of picking up call (the faster way) without the dragging to the right. Please go to setting > call settling > all calls> answering call> enable answering mode and answering key. By doing this setting, you are able to pickup call by just pressing the HOME button. Easy and straight forward XD

Why Samsung Galaxy S and S Plus does not included in the list of Jelly Bean upgrade? The model like Samsung Galaxy Mini 2, Ace Plus and Ace 2 are able to upgrade, why???
