Karthik, 28 Mar 2012I am using this phone from almost 4 months and with the set... moreBTW, my comments below regarding battery life saving is based on normal and generic use case scenarios. It is not for someone who wants to browse for 3 to 4 hours continuosly or playing video games for 4 to 5 hours. With some internet suage as needed/games/taking videos and talk time, it gives more than 3 days and some times it almost went upto 4 days. Make sure you are GSM mdoe as WCDMA consumes more current. If you need 3G for somethign urgent, then turn on and go back to GSM once it is over.

subu, 27 Mar 2012how do i save my battery it drains off so fast, that in a d... moreI am using this phone from almost 4 months and with the settings I have, it gives me a near 4 day battery life with some Internet usage/games/videos (max of 2 to 3 hours all inclusive). I know lot of them will not believe for whom I dont care.
Make sure, you are always in GSM mode and turn on Wifi/GPS/"Use packet data" ONLY WHEN YOU need it.
In date and time, disable Automatic.
Screen timeout at 15 secs and brightness near to the least. During night time, least brightness will work. When you are out ins un, you may increase the brightness.
Basically, you need to put little bit of extra effrt in turning off/on everytime etc

guyes,compared to galaxy s,galaxy s plus is very good,touch screen,internet speed,1.4ghz are fantastic,i fully satisfied by using this phone

jus yesturdae bought galaxy s plus.i had already exchanged 7 phones in search of any comfortable device,after buying s plus i think ma search gets an end.m fully satisfied wid s plus .thanx to samsung.

Beautiful phone. Strongly recommended. The only drawback is the battery. It just doesn't keep up.

Its not updatable to ICS. So thats a problem.
If you can do without ICS, you can buy this.
I own one, and it never lets me down.
