Am using it almost for 1 month & really i love this s plus. For me battery is not a big issue since i dont play in it. Am geting 2 days of backup after recharging it for 3hrs. It takes 3hrs to charge fully. Android is really amazing. Photo is clear without flash. Phone is fast. 22k it worth. But it instead of buying i9000 / i9003!

comeon samsung be quick...HTC and Sony already announced their list of devices which will get ICS update...we are waiting...I dunno why this much delay is happening in ICS update...hope samsung reading this...

im using this phone from last 1 week........
i Experience Great Speed,camera superb,touch senvty is great,all thinks r working great till now.....
On first Day i was havng 100% battery n after 6 hr it was 0.
After installng some important apps..... now i get battery life around 12-13 hrs easily with having 25 % battery life left
I m so happy to hav this phone :D

when is ice cream sandwich cuming for diz s plus...? d only one drawback i m having is its battery life.. so, can a new update or an ice cream sandwich increase the battery back up...?

Actually,not worthed. I run my i9000 at 1440 Mhz with 2.3.5 on it. Converted filesystem to ext2, i get 4400+ on quadrant, 55 fps on nenamark1(2 is not supported), 2400/4100 on smartbench 2010.
Battery life 2.5-3 days with lite usage.And i get the better gpu.
So,why did samsung released this model?dunno...indeed..i9000 is still a great phone,performance is better than many devices. In romania, i9001 is 25 euros cheaper than i9000, but the difference is too small to be worthed. So, if you want a galaxy and don't afford galaxy s2, go for i9000.

Hi,
Whenever I try to use GPS it shows "Waiting for Location" Not able to determine your cuurent location. I am able to browse sites so net is working
I am not able to use GPS at all
What needs to be done now ?

MX video player b.... moregreat device with a brilliant display amoled screen,1.4ghz processor indeed faster than other,some what disappointed with camera with no flash but i do not prefer to click a picture from my mobile but still with a price of 22,300 INR should provide a led flash which will attract the users more that's my opinion to samsung people wake up guys introduced samsung galaxy s and samsung galaxy s plus the main difference between these two devices is having amoled display and 1.4ghz processor and 16gb of internal memory but with no led flash priced 4,000 more than the samsung galaxy s.....we are getting flash in a set where we have to spend only 15k that's samsung galaxy ace....we spend 22,300INR so i think we should have better specs....other than all these things personally m loving this because in galaxy s2 also u did not provide 1.4ghz processor but in this device u provide that appreciated.....thank you looking forward for your next releases ........

/mnt/sdcard/audio/notifications/ringtones
and it will appear when you choose notification tones/ringtones..
have fun...:)
