I want to buy a good android ph, I am confused within which one to buy from these
Samsung Galaxy S,HTC Desire, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc
Or the basic android LG optimus P500
Kindly suggest me :)

for the lock screen, pre-installed lock screen can be change via Settings - Location and Security - Set Screen Lock..
Pattern uses shapes connected by 4 or more dots you assign..so your phone is secured more unless you use only 4 connected dots.. :)

Wifi transfer is not present, only using bluetooth..
what do you mean by motion sensor?
Document editor you can use officesuite or thinkfree office(Pre-installed)
ICS update: I've posted regarding this in my past review..
The only hanging problem is if you run too many apps in one time..
