Better games experience in your case isnt related too much with cpu, but much more becouse strongest gpu Mali400, embended in newer dualcore pohones like SG Ace 2.
At my oppinion, SGS Plus still performs very well for its class.
With custom CM 4.2.2 JB (Liquid smooth) gives almost 6000 points in Antutu with default cpu clock or even more, clocked at stable 1.8 Ghz.
This is great phone and still withstands the test of time well.

galaxy s2 plus is a piece of junk. it restarts automatically, hangs a lot and to use the phone again battery has to be removed. just painstaking...i am indeed angry at who praise samsung galaxy phones!!!

Its fast, battery life is good, so we must only to wait for stable version.

AnonD-198563, 22 Oct 2013who procesor is better 1,4or 1 dual coreThe 1 GHz dual-core is much-much better than the 1.4GHz single-core processor.For example my processor is 800MHz dual-core(SG Ace 2) and it feels better,smoother than the 1.4GHz from SGS plus(i9001).Even it has only 800MHz,it can handle games witch SGS plus cannot,even i9001 has 600 more MHz.Anyway, for a discontinued smartphone it's a pretty impressing one.It has an amazing display,the sensitivity of the touchscreen is great,it has a lot of memory with can be expanded with an external sd card and it looks very good.But if you want more performance, you should choose a smartphone with 1GHz processor instead 1.4GHz.

Akku, 05 Oct 2013Has this phone been discontinued by samsung ? Plz rply This phone is discontinued long back. However still a very good phone with a lot of latest custom roms released by many developers, although Samsung has discontinued new updates.
