hi to all!!
i was actually planning to buy my first android phone and i am pretty excited about it...
but on the other hand i am confused too...
im stuck between samsung Galaxy SL OR LG Optimus Black...
im a big muzic freak and for sure i need a phone that sounds awesome with the headphones on, so friends please help me out with the audio quality of both these phones...
in built phone speakers aren't much of my need...
so there quality doesn't matter.i just want to know the headphone quality...
please also consider the fact that samsung comes with 5.1 Surround Sound System (Not aware of what LG OB has Provided)...

720p videos taken from my phone plays. Other 720p videos play with lag in some of best players. Please help.

I updated xxkpe but camera is not working. Video player not working. Plays only sounds. 720p lags in all players.

on second flash with odin everything works smooth..better performance and battery than froyo

i swapped my class 10 8gb external sd to make it internal sd...and my internal sd becomes external sd...

friends, i need help, I'm using Galaxy SL, the internal SD memory is less than 2gb. for some games, after I install the apk file, it requires me to download data to SD card, the data is quite large and it automatically be downloaded into internal SD card, how to make the data to download into external SD card? thanks so much.

GC, I think your using a bit older leaked gingerbread version. Try this tutorial: http://androidadvices.com/update-samsung-galaxy-sl-i9003-gingerbread-xxkp9-234-firmware/
It states, that many bugs (including camera) are fixed in that version.

hey guys just see the updated specs of gsmarena, now it showing upgradable to 2.3.
guys dont install beta version of gingerbread.
official gigerbread coming in sept. 2011
so please be patient....

You have mentioned about the update from froyo to 2.3 but actually it is not available.
when you go for the update, it shows Froyo to be the latest version.

i updated my GALAXY SL to Gingerbread 2.3.4 I9003XXKPE trough SAMFIRMWARE. works fine but the camera(both F&B) is not working and vedio player is working without showing vedio it jst plays music. i think it is beta version.
