Anyway, what is hardware acceleration buddy?
And many people're saying that it hangs a lot and restarts by itself. How true is it? And how's the gaming experience while playing hd games more than 400-500mb. Is it smooth or any lags as the gpu is a dowgraded one.

Hi, dont go for this model. This model is having some serious issues. I bought it 2 months back and now frequently facing issues. 2 times I have given it for service in the Samsung Service Center and the issue not yet resolved.
Getting error message: "Internal SD Card Unexpectedly Removed" and the phone is getting hanged and switched off. Lost all my contacts and pictures from the Internal SD Card.
Is any one facing the same issue.

hello sgsl user i need some help guys i set a password on the screen lock on my phone without creating gmail account now my problem is i cannot open the lock screen saying password error any help guys......thanks

rist, 22 Jul 2011how you can upgrade ur SGSL to gingerbread, do use beta ver... moreits unreleased leaked version of gingerbrd for sgsl.you have to manually flash it.

thanks everyone...but i noticed that some user are complaining the sgsl for poor in battery and sometimes get lag and automatically restart the phone!!!is that all true???

[deleted post]dude it depends on you if you want to pay for the games or not.you can buy them legally from official website.at the same time each and every game is available online in differnt warez site for free download.if gamin is you priority then don buy wave.bada has sum good games.where as in android you get all hd games of bada and many many more.new hd games are released every day for android.where as in bada new release is very limited.i was confused between wave and sgsl.went for sgsl and now i see how overwhelmingly android surpasses bada may that be in gaming,social networking and any thing a smartphone can do.wave is a very good piece of harware the true potential of which will never be utilized due to its lame os.btw i hav played every hd game there is on my sgsl and all works lyk a charm.hope i helped u decide buddy :) And on another note hardware acceleration isnt available in froyo.bt it is present im gingerbread on sgsl.

Nice phone but battery life is really really poor... I think its worst than ny other phone available in the market....

hey guys i just root ma Sl .. but i cant play the game which data i put into SD CARD .. if i move the in internal memory then i can play the game ..i have only 2 GB internal memory

I bought my gslthree days ago. My battery didn't last long for da past two days. I used to charge it in da evenin at arnd 7 and by 9 am nxt day, only 52% of da charge used to remain. Then I did a few research nd disabled "background data" option, which u can find in settings->accounts and sync. After dat, again i charged my mobile in da evenin at arnd 7 only nd I checked da remainin charge nxt mornin at arnd 10 nd i was surprised....... 92% of da charge was still remainin :O :O
So ppl who r complainin abt da battery backup, jst try dis. This wrkd fr me.............

Iam from India and i'm having diffuculty de... moredude what made u think wave 2 outclasses sgsl in cam speed and vdo???everything is the same except for that wav has a led flash, which isnt of much use any way.and the games u are talkin abt, android has them all and more.the biggest game that i have in my sgsl is 1.5 gb.bada has no future dude.dont go for wave.android will chnge the way u use ur phone.the only downside is altho hardware wise wave 2 and sgsl are preety alike excpt the gpu(which is actually better in wave) sgsl costs way more than wave.so if u r not bothered with android or dont use ur phone that diveresely u can go for wave.its a better bang for ur buck.and whatever u saw on sgs2 is possible in sgsl.

Guys, help me.
Iam from India and i'm having diffuculty deciding between galaxy sl and wave II.
Sl does not seem anything better than waveII except bigger screen and android. But waveII seem to outclass sl in speed, cam, video and all other aspects.
WaveII has great games of 500-600mb with great graphics and rich gaming experience. Basically i want to know if such big games are available in android. I heard that android games are only 14-15mb? Please clarify me.
Also my friend was using galaxy sII. Very briefly but I saw something- theme or live wallpaper I dont know. It was like pebbles on the bottom with water above, and whenever the touchscreen was touched, the water moved like real and it was great. Please tell me if such effects are possible in tjis set.
Please enlighten my doubts, and help me decide.
