Hey all u who are confused to go for galaxy sl or optimus black here is the solution:
1) nova display vs super clear lcd here galaxy sl wins coz nova display is just a normal lcd with increased brightness.
2) optimus UI vs TouchWiz 3.0 I think touchwizUI is better so galaxy sl wins.
3) in camera optimus black has led flash while sl doesn't so black wins here.
4) galaxy sl seems to have bit greater benchmarks than optimus black so sl wins.
5) lastly samsung has bigger name then lg means if you say to ur friends tht I hav a galaxy sl then ppl will come to knw but if u say lg optimus black then they will not identify it.
Lastly guys its ur decision hope it helped to choose between the two.If u ask me thn I would recommend GALAXY SL coz of above reasons.

hi,
i am the proud owner of galaxy sl,every thing seems to be perfect in this phone...but one problem i am facing is phone autometically start consuming too much RAM(450) which makes phone pretty slow..Im using advanced task killer,and android booster too.very freequently i also kill applications which are running..i also use manage application option from settings..RAM usage gets corrected when i switch off and restart the phone but after 2-3 days same problem persist.....can any one suggest what would be the way out???how to resolve the problem

optimus - awful sound quality both in headfon and loud speaker
camera performance not that good
no cont. autofocus in vdo.hd vdo not upto the mark
sgsl - best in the market in sound quality
camera takes awesum pics even indoors.
camera has cont. autofocus in vdo.
the vdos are sharp and crystal clear
check cam samples from gsmarena.personally i think super clear lcd of sgsl is way better than the so called nova.just check you tube.or go to ur local market and check them out.the clarity of sgsl display is simply out of the world,its a totaly different technology.where as nova is normal lcd with increased brightness.

lg optimus black v/s galaxy sl
1)i guess galaxy sl wud be better in terms of lagging problem koz OB uses the same UI as fir the dual core Optimus 2x wich z not very nicely optimised for single core fones
2)UI dat depends on your choice basically
i wud abytym prefer LGs UI
love the friends widgets (htc like)
3)Screen:Optimus black a hands down winner
n i feel its better than any display among smartfones
4)battery: GSL 1650mah OB 1500mah
yet OB is a winner as the display is really an economical one (uses only 50% of the power as compared to otherrs)
5)camera: 2mp front facing camera in OB as compared to VGA cam in galaxy sl
6)multitasking : 512 complete ram in OB as compared to sm 478mb (i guess ) in galaxy sl ,OB wins it here again
&)GPU n HD gaming: same GPU in both the devices hence both are equally capable of handling those draining games
7) gesture key : nothingof use .. u wont b using this feaature aftr a week of use bt yeahh its a cool show off thing among your frenz ;)
8) internal memory : with OB yu get mere 1 or 2 gb internal mem... n 'mere' 4gb in galaxy sl..... either ways yu r going to buy a memory card
both the capacities are not enough for any heavy users
choice is yours now

hello
i root ma galaxy sl but i cant playing games like real football , asphalt, mordern combat etc when i put the data in my sdcard/gameloft/games
so what should i do... i can play the games when i put the data in my internal memory only
