is there a faster way to search for apps in the andriod market?? like just typing the specific app i want to install and it will already show? or do i really have to scroll down and just look for it 1 by 1??

sunny, 11 Jul 2011Does it often support big size hd games like nova,nfs etc.?... moredude you can play any hd game flawlessly.i m playin nova 2 asphalt 6 avatar to name afew.and yes its helluva lot better than ace in every aspect.just c the two phones specs side by dide and youll know.

It... morecum on man.dont mislead ppl.either you have a faulty set or you r lying through you teeth.i have been usin sgsl for 3 months.i dont remember it hanging for once.display is awesum.better than amoled if you ask me.brightness doesnt change by itself(that allegation was absurd).already has gingerbread.if you can manually flash it that it.official realeas of gb is this month.yes if you live in india you gps will give you trouble.bt once you flash and change you rom the gps locks in 15 sec.which is faster than any available in the market.cam and sound quality both bettet than optimus.just check the gsmarena review and u will kno for urself.

[deleted post]why are you lying brother???optimus is not upgradable to 2.3.not upto now at least.where as sgsl already has stable 2.3.4 gingerbread rom floating around in the net.you can maually flash it.and just read gsmarena review of black.its sound quality is even worse than a cheap nokia phone.the video recording of black is buggy too.dont mislead ppl brother.

Not the best phone probably. Lacks support from samsung. It will never get updated. Some other problems: COMPASS will not work. GPS will not work unless you change some settings. VOICE quality not the best. Voice level low. Hangs, gets stuck. Battery is ok. Display intensity control changes to auto by itself.
If you want to use maps/gps dont buy a samsung.

And when ever I upgrade my phone it shows the ERROR message.

Is all experiencing about 4hrs to fully charge the battery and it will last a whole day of usage?with daily usage of about 100+ text messages and 5-6 hrs of music and some 1hr+ of gaming and also some browsing using wifi

Galaxy sl is far better than optimus black.... Since most of the specs are same in both the phones sum gives advantage to optimus while sum gives advantage to galaxy sl.... Whn it cums to display thn people r buzzing nova display for black is siperior to super clear lcd display of sl... Guys nova is just a name given, not a technology.... The technology behind this is that it has IPS LCD means a lcd wid horizontal liquid crystal arrays which helps to maintain sharpness in image or video... While superclear LCD has an lcd with fluorescent TFT pannels which if u see from any angle provides better imaging and videos compared to IPS LCD.... If u think m praising sclcd thn check both the displays in wikipedia n a video which compares both thn u will cum to knw abt it..... Even IPS LCD uses a lot f battery compared to sclcd.....

Hi Guys, Im using the phone for the past 1 month and it was working great, from last week the autorotation is not working. i tried horizontal calibration but the calibration is not completing and i had to force close. Could anyone advise.

Try both on your Palm and GalaxySL feels far better. Try the Optimus Black and you can feel the back edges are too sharp on your palm.
