Very much disappointed by its battery..... Previously it gave around 1 full day f backup in moderate use whr data network mode is on throughout n screen brightness was in 0% n also i do all that stuffs which save my battery power, i was very happy wid performance but i downloaded V launcher go thn its backup gone down to 15 hrs thn i uninstalled it n now frm past two days m doin all that measures to sav my battery which i was using before but now it is giving not more than 10 hrs f backup..... Plz help....

It was gettin android 2.3 gingerbread on the 1st week f july.... Whr the hell is gingerbread gone..... Gingerbread 2.3.4 has been already released for galaxy s n s2..... I think samsung is making fool out f galaxy sl users......

I love skyfire browser too and i can play full flash to and watch tv online and ya the reason i love skyfire most cuz i can play fb online games on my samsung sl and camera is great, better then nokia and htc. its doesnt have flash but its take a bright and super quality pics.

It will be 100 times better to buy i9003 than the nokia n8 android is in more demand than the symbian running n8.

i purchased the phone 2 months back and it is very good in all aspects either touch response ,battery, processing speed and many more. its really good phone

I enter a number in my contact list under a name - say TEXTER with no. 09171234567. So when sending a message just click on the contact and type a message and send.
Now to this number I send money or load, by using "2" instead of "0" plus the cp number. So I send a load by sending a coded text to the number 29171234567. Perfect.
Now comes this bug. Everytime TEXTER sends me an SMS, the number that appears on the message is 29171234567, not 09171234567. The pain in the ass is that when you reply to this message, it automatically replies to 29171234567, therefore I get error messages instead.
So whenever I have to reply, I would have to start a new thread, select the number from the contacts list, type my message and then send.
Has anyone encountered this and is there a fix for it?
