It is fabulous phone but Battery performance is very poor.....I am using this since last 2 month and i hv to charge twice in a day....battery is worth less...

wish to say few f... moreHow do you think is the battery life of this phone(9003), if I am using only GPRS(no 3G), 2-3 hrs wifi and some gaming and multimedia. Coz if lasts a day(10 hrs aprox) then I should go for it??
Plz help, I am in a fix.

i have heard many queries in this forum related to gingerbread update
this phone will get a gingerbread update for sure !!
and 2 official developer gingerbread roms have already been leaked on samfirmware.

for battery life ,well i didnt use it normally this day and half however ,now phone is 1 day 14 hours unplugged with 42 % battery ,if i used it heavily ,i think it would have been near to recharge it. also to add i usually connected to 2g with packet data off and data roaming aswell off ,also wireless network and gps is off auto sync is off ,although am subscribed to data plan on my network carrier ,when i want to browse net or log in facebook ,check mail or anything , i simply switch to 3g and open packed data ,stay as long as i want ,like 1 hour or so and when am done switch back 2g and close packet data(can do this like many times not just once),to add battery life is yes not super ,but also depends on how u use it and how smart u use it ,and to add when i was connected 24 hours 3g with packet data on all times ,i went 23-24 hours with battery life ,there is alot of variables here which depends on person using phone.

fone is superb...!!!! battery is pretty ok... one day for sure... reduce the brightness to save battery...!!! enjoy the fone...!!!

well i have got SL for about 4 days now ,from this short period ,i conclude that
1-battery life is yes kinda feels u sad ,however SMART using can give with heavy usage about day and half ,and i yes i have got to almost 2 days with heavy usage with every aspect of phone from browsing (over 3g) about 1+ hour of talk time and playing games ,1+ hour music play,if u want to know what i did to get this time just ask me.
2-phone is fun to use in overall ,with video playing ,music play through headsets ,sound is clear and loud enough ,somtimes low ,however i think its related more to song itself than mobile.
3-android froyo is aw awesome ,provides awesome user experience.
4-phone sometimes lag ,and also experienced some problems with Facebook program and market ,however force stop application and reopening it ,solves problem ,also lag is not that noticeable thing
5-Screen ,is damn good ,viewing angles is as far as u can go ,realy makes using phone just more fun.
6-i downloaded opera browser , default browser kinda not good ,didnt use it extensivly to be honest ,however opera is so fun to use.
any questions feel free to ask me ,coz myself was so confused to buy SL or not.
