[deleted post]Dnt get upset..... The products made for india and pakistan cums frm china coz we dnt hav ny production unit in india or pakistan..... Evry phone of samsung which ships to india or pakistan are made by china only..... Its original not dulicate..... Evry ppl using the mobile hav same sign..... Evn me too.....

I recently bought samsung galaxy sl i9003 4gb (midnight black color)...the phone is original ..but it is made in china.... to be exact it is written.."MADE IN CHINA FOR SAMSUNG"...
does anybody else has the same model.. is it something to get worried about the it is made in china...plz answer ..especially those who have the same version.

Got both the phones : i9003 and i9000
Comparison:
Yes, the screen of i9000 is better than i9003, but i9003 is more like true colours.
Camera of i9003 is a lot better than i9000, really.
Processing of i9003 is much faster than i9000.
All the hype about the battery life, i9003 is a lil better than i9000, though not that much of a difference
(will just put in the graphics performance after some more testing)
NOTE: i9003 had xxkb3 firmware and i9000 had gingerbread latest 2.3.4(xxjvp)

ken, 12 Jun 2011just bought this phone few days ago, everything is fine,the... moreHey buddy as all touch phones uses a lot f battery compared to non touch phones still u can conserve ur battery by doin these things-
1. Put it in power saver mode n in 0% brightness as their z no need to increase brightness coz its a super clear lcd display.. U can see evrythn very clear...
2. Keep data networks off... Use it only when required.... This helps a lot to conserve the battery...
3. Download autokiller app frm market which kills all running apps in the background....
4. Charge ur phon whn it reaches 15% n do not use it while charging or either switch off n charge it.. This keeps battery's life long n plug out the phone whn it gets completely charged....

Whn u switch on camera, in left hand side u hav an option of camera swapping which swaps for rear n front camera..... N for video calling u shud hav a 3G network..... I ve used both, the front cam for takin picture as well as video calling, it works.....

I dont get it, it has front facing camera in specs, but didnt allow to work, whats the use of this, misleading.??? just to add sweets to phone specification?

just bought this phone few days ago, everything is fine,the touch experience,the display, the camera ,games,the OS,the user interface, the only thing that sucks is the battery despite being a good 1650 mah, the battery lasts just for a day with normal use (like little gaming,internet surfing, music, and a bit of calling), i tried closing all unnecessary things(wifi, bluetooth,apps,lowering screen brightness etc) that eat up battery but couldnt extract more out of it, don't know maybe an OS upgrade like ginger bread or ice cream sandwich could provide some battery performance.

guys you can swap the internal sd to the external sd

Using this phone for about a month. Installed asphalt 5, nova, dungeon hunter, splinter cell and many more. I didint have any problems. Answer to battery life problem...charge it..

Since it... moreGuys I have been using Galaxy SL from the past 4 months....and I think we have an option to move applications to External memory card....so try moving your applications to External memory card first, then try installing big games...I have installed games too....but the maximum size of the game that I installed was 250MB so did not face any problem....

How do i edit calendar entries, the entry which i create syncs with my google calendar, i am able to view all my google calendar entries but couldnt edit them. The new calendar appointment which i create in my phone also goes to the google calendar and am not able to edit them, i could only view them and snooze the reminders. Pl help on how to edit google calendar entries from the phone or create a separate calendar which doesnt sync with google. Thanks in advance
