Galaxy sl is my best phone so far. I have compared it with
my friend' s sgs. super amoled makes not much of a
difference. just a tad better contrast that's all. If you are a
consistent reader, then sgs is not for you. Text appears
blurry.
By the way sclcd in galaxy sl looking much better than what
you see online. Very bright and colourful.
If you are a one who goes for a "value for the money"
handset always, like me then galaxy sl is your best buy. My
previous mobile is nokia 5230, which also falls in this
category.
as far as updates are concerned, sgsl will get gingerbread in
first or second week of july. I have confirmed it with
samsung officials.
For having low internal sd problems, we have a solution. You
can swap the internal sd with the external one.
Don't hesitate. Goes for galaxy sl. It is new. So it will take
some time for custom roms to get available. Already rex4u
@ xda is working on his ultimate sl rom. After gingerbread
update, you will see a whole lot of custom roms for
samsung galaxy sl gt-i9003.

2 day... morepls go to the horizontal calibration,put the phone on a horizontal surface and press calibrate....the problem will be solved

Hey guys can anyone help me out?
I bought this phone about a month ago and everything was going fine. That time I used internet thru my wifi router. But now it doesn't find any wifi network available whereas there are almost 3-4 available(my lappy can find it). I tried MOBILE AP on this device and its working pretty good. This means that my wifi is ok. But it doesnt find any network. I also have other phones with wifi so I turn on the mobile AP on other phone and try to find it on this but it doesn't help. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW??!?!?

I am purchased this phone (Samsung I9003 Galaxy SL)
2 days before,
it all function etc.. working well..
But i face some problem in Auto rotation,is not working
properly, when it's turn on screen rotate only 1 in
direction,N stick it up to auto rotation is not turn off
plz help me.. screen is not rotating

I've purchased this phone in brown-black colour a week ago and it is pretty awesome with superb features. The new brown-black colour looks great and doesn't have a glossy black back cover. Rather than that, it has scratch resistant back cover which also looks nice. Gingerbread is also announced somewhere in July. Then what do you waiting for? Just go for it! :)

I face some problem with I9003 sL
auto rotation is not working properly..
when after turn on it's stick only 1 side,it's not
rotating .. N also battery life is very short N it take
long time to charge

i bought this phone like two days ago and all i can say is that it has a good battery i used my phone with internet, calls, and games, and even tested out my gps.
do turn them off and keep clearing ram if you want your battery backup to last longer than majority of the reviews i've read here. and when you're not using your phone, do lock the screen off to conserve even more energy. don't wait for it to automatically turn the screen off.
i checked the battery usage and the timer says that i've been unplugged for 26h 32m and it just stated that my battery is at 15% capacity.
for the beating i gave it 26hours is pretty good.
P.S. i do have my 3g enabled(although i wasn't able to connect on 3g) and im on an area where there's hardly any signal so that means it uses extra battery searching for a better signal.

the battery of this phone is pathetic.... stays good only for 6 to 7 hrs.... apart from that the phone is awesome and android is amazing...

Cool phone.. Using it for about 15 days now.. Very fast.. Battery backup is good but not very good.. Good substitute for the I9000 as the display is as good without the amoled screen.. Touch panel is superb.. Graphics and sound performance is extraordinary.. :)
Waiting eagerly for the gingerbread.. :)

nm, 26 May 2011still my battery give worst performance. but there is no us... moreyes.. exactly same problem with me also... hope the gingerbeard updates will help in increase the battery life.
I donot know what they mean by should not use wifi/bluetooth to save battery.. all stupid gimmicks.
what is the use of smarphone without using wifi/bluetooth/3g..

there is no much need of gingerbread for this phone as samsung has packed some major gingerbread features in froyo itself... eg. we can use front camera for clicking pictures (gingerbread only allows to distinguisg two cameras...the original galaxy S[amoled] doesnt let you use front camera for taking pictures)...some other features are also encapsulated similarly...
